We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Vincent Juarez. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Vincent below.
Hi Vincent, thanks for joining us today. Do you wish you had waited to pursue your creative career or do you wish you had started sooner?
If I was able to go back in time, I would have started my “ career” a lot sooner. Being a creative artist is something that is always part of your life, so it was always apart of mine. It was never in my mind to make a career out of it until I had kids. I would make custom clothes for myself and it wasn’t till I had kids I started making clothes for them. That was the moment where I told myself that I can make a career out of this. At that time in my life I was working labor intensive jobs, mostly construction. I believe if I would’ve started sooner, I would’ve had the experience that I desire but like we all know experience only comes with time. At the end of the day I can’t dwell on if I can go back in time I would’ve started sooner, it will only make me think of the past and not the future. In life everything has to do with timing, so when I decided to take my creativeness seriously that’s when I started to take my career seriously, it was my time.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My inspiration’s for art started at a young age. My grandfather was an artist and my mom was a very creative person. At a young age I knew I had both traits. I would use both traits through my young years but it wasn’t till I hit high school that I really got to express myself. I had always liked fashion as well, so when I put art/creative/and fashion together its when I knew I had my calling. What inspired me was watching a lot of music videos and seeing all the different trends throughout the years. Because of that, my goal is to work with music artists all around the world so that I can see my work in a music video one day. I believe what sets me apart from other custom clothing artist is that your product is only touched by me and me only. Meaning your product is in good hands. When I do my Custom pieces I ask the customer for there input with color schemes / small details/ or would they just like me to get creative on there clothes?. As long as I keep working hard my dreams are in arms reach.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Music videos and seeing my clothing on music artists is my mission. My drive comes from my kids and my wife. Wanting a better life for them financially and for me to be doing something I love for the rest of my life.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
As and artist the most rewarding aspect is seeing your finish product on your customer and your customer expressing how much they love it. As an artist you’re just expressing yourself on an empty canvas and just doing what you love to do. For a customer, your putting a smile on there face and making them feel SEW INVINCIBLE when they are wearing your product.
