Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Vincent Biffle. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Vincent, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
The biggest risk I have taken in my life was moving to Atlanta with nothing really under my belt besides a college degree, ambition to start my own business, and faith in God that everything will work out. I was 23 years old when I decided it was time for change. I had just recently dropped out of graduate school and did not know which direction my life was headed in. I was going through a serious depression, because I was an athlete my entire life, my whole dream was to play professionally. When I soon started to realize that I lost my love for the game reality started to really kick in. I did not know who I was if it didn’t involve a basketball. Injuries really killed all the joy I had for the game along with losing and not really living up to the potential that I had. Soon I knew that basketball wasn’t my future. Since a child I’ve always known that I would be some type of entrepreneur. The entrepreneur spirit in me comes from my dad, Vincent Biffle, he’s ran his own business for 25+ years now. My life was going to be just like his I always knew. The idea to move to Atlanta was very sporadic and I just took a risk. My older sister had been living in Atlanta for a few years and I always noticed that she was constantly progressing in her career. This was the only hope I had to get uncomfortable without being irresponsible. She took me in for 9 months until I could get on my feet, the biggest blessing I have ever had. 9 months came and went, now the rest is history.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Vincent Biffle, I am 25 years old, born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I grew up playing sports since the age of 3, my entire life I had been an athlete that’s all I ever knew. Training has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. Basketball has always been my first love and little did I know that training was a close second. My passion for fitness came from my dedication to always train since I was a young child. Once I realized basketball was not going to be apart of my life for the long run, I quickly had turned to my other passion which was fitness. My whole life I’ve basically been a fitness maniac without even realizing it. Initially I hated strength training, but I found a serious love for it when I was 19 years old. The rest has taken care of itself. I took a whole summer to transform my body and it worked out perfectly for me. I immediately started training friends and seeing that I inspired others to hit the gym. My purpose was found. My brand has been established on the values of helping, inspiring, motivating, and informing other the importance of self care. My goal is to change the lives of as many people as I can. Not just physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. My brand provides people with products and services that guide you to learn the importance and fundamentals of self care. Fitness is just one avenue, but not the only avenue to become your best self. I set myself apart from many other trainers and brands because I do not just focus on one category. I focus on many more and provide valuable information that can be taken with you for as long as you live. Fitness is not just fitness it’s self-love it’s self care.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for me growing my clientele has been just really being genuine with them. I am not a person that has to do all things for monetary reasons, I just really love what I do & I love to help change people’s lives for the better. I love creating healthy habits for those who are wanting change and are ready to embrace it. The journey is the beauty of it, the final destination is just the reward. I love sharing the journey with others and accomplishing whatever goals that they have in mind.

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
The best advice I can give anyone for managing a team and maintaining high morale is that it’s important to let everyone on your team be heard. Everyone has a voice and an opinion. Value your team members, show them respect, and listen to the things they are saying. That maintains high morale and will only drive your business to the next level.
