We recently connected with Vince Spano and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Vince, thanks for joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
It was pretty much always going to be music for me and for the rest of the guys in the band. I grew up writing music from a very small age. It was always sort of known in my family that I wasnt gonna fall into a regular job, this was always the end goal.

Vince, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Vince from The Mox and we’re an Alt-Rock band based out of Austin, Tx. We formed in late 2023 and have been recording music and playing shows ever since. We have all individually been involved in the music world for around 8-10 years doing our own thing and it wasnt until I moved out to Austin and actually started looking for band members that everything started falling into place. It took a while to get running but now i dont ever see us stopping until we get where we wanna get.
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding experiences come at the live shows. You can write and record and put out as much music as you want, but until you’re face to face with the crowd and they’re undrrstanding what you’re saying and having the time of their life to songs that you made in your bedroom at 2am, then thats when you figure out like “this is what im doing it for”.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
Theres a lot we want to do. The main thing is tell a story that people can either relate to or can escape into. We also want to bring new life into the genre of music that we grew up loving and listening to
