Viktoriya, appreciate you joining us today. I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?

yes, I love being creative. I cannot picture myself doing anything else. I love the freedom of my job and the reward of making my clients happy.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

I went to cosmetology school in Ternopol, Ukraine. Then I continued my education in Kyiv, where I began my specialization in precision cutting. Upon coming to America, I had to put my passion of hairstyling on hold while I figured out how to adapt to a new country. Once I was comfortable and confident in my new situation, I was able to continue my journey and follow my passion. I also met one of my great friends and current boss, Vania who aided and encouraged me in my dream of doing hair in America. Vania took me under her wing and helped me with my citizenship as well as finding me a salon to work at. She helped me become secure so that I can spend all my focus on my passion, hair. I specialize in precision cuts as well as blonding services, specifically platinum blonde. I think what sets me apart is my attention to detail and determination to leave my clients as satisfied as possible. I am most proud of the way I am able to make my clients feel about themselves when they see their hair achieve a look they never thought was possible.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

I love providing my clients with a total transformation that makes them feel beautiful and confident.

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?

My goal is to have my clients feel beautiful and confident when bringing my creative visions to life.
