Today, we have the honor of introducing you to Viktoria Kay. We believe you’ll enjoy our conversation, shared below.
Hi Viktoria, thanks for joining us today. Are you happier as a creative? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job? Can you talk to us about how you think through these emotions?
Becoming a content creator has been quite a journey for me. It’s very fulfilling and offers numerous opportunities. Unlike my past roles as a waitress, administrative assistant, and manager, content creation lets me break free from the constraints of a strict schedule and adds a refreshing dimension to my life. The transition into content creation happened naturally as my modeling career aligned with the growth of social media. Each day as a content creator is a chance to explore my creative side through different media, though it does come with the challenge of keeping myself on track.
One of the exceptional aspects of this venture is the freedom it provides. Whether I’m creating content for brands or working on partnerships, I’m in control of my own journey. Negotiating deals and determining my own value as a business owner and collaborator is genuinely empowering. This unique journey has transformed my life, setting me free from the limitations of traditional employment. Despite its unique challenges, like staying accountable to myself, the rewards are truly something else. Creating my own schedule, making my own deals, and nurturing my creative side has given me a sense of purpose and fulfillment I couldn’t find in the nine-to-five grind.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
Hi, everyone! I’m Viktoria Kay, and I’m here to share a bit about my journey. I was born in Hungary, raised in Germany, and moved to the United States on my own at the age of 20. It was during this journey that I took on the challenge of learning English from scratch while earning my Business degree at California State University, Long Beach. I recently became a US citizen, which I am very proud of.
Regarding my transition from a more traditional career path to becoming an independent content creator, I’ve touched on that story in my previous response. It’s been an interesting journey, with its share of ups and downs, but it’s brought me a sense of fulfillment and purpose that I couldn’t find in a typical nine-to-five job.
I’m also excited to share that I’m currently in the process of revamping my brand, which sets the beginning of a new chapter filled with fresh perspectives and exciting changes. I’m diligently working on creating a product that I can’t wait to introduce to all of you. And that’s not all – I have some collaborations lined up that I’m looking forward to sharing with my audience. So, stay tuned for all the upcoming changes!
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I primarily discover valuable resources on Instagram and within my network. It does take work to research valuable resources and quality services with a lot of trial and error. One thing I’ve found challenging is accessing skilled editors and graphic designers more easily. I also suggest having more than one resource for each category to secure a back-up if needed.
I’m also open to coaching sessions, where I can share my experiences and offer guidance. Feel free to email me if you’d like to set up a coaching session.
Is there a mission driving your creative journey?
It’s pretty simple: Inspiration! My mission is to inspire people to believe that they can achieve whatever they want in life and maximize their interests and well-being. I also aim to encourage individuals to pay more attention to how their health and beauty can be improved naturally.
