We were lucky to catch up with Victorial Bean recently and have shared our conversation below.
Victorial, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What’s been the best thing you’ve ever seen (or done yourself) to show a customer that you appreciate them?
Customer service is very important and is necessary for all businesses. Being honest and respecting consumer’s concerns displays my passion for providing quality products for others. Another way to help customer’s feel appreciated is through free gifts and social media engagement. Consumers enjoy testing the new scents and viewing company updates.
I helps my clients feel appreciated by giving them a free Candle they like and telling them Thank you and I listen to them, and I always tells the truth.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
As a Candle Business Owner I started making candles in 2020. This was doing Covid when every one was asked to stay home due to the spread of covid. I got you tube and was scrolling up and down. It was a boring year. I decided to do something with my time. I came up in my mind that I wanted to make candles. My daughter was my first client. Than I turned to Facebook and Instagram. This is the best thing I ever done. I started going on events such as Festival, Crafts event. I have a lots of Fans now. Most of my events are in Alabama. I have some of my candles in a convenient store now in Lithia Springs GA. I am proud of myself the work I accomplished.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I keep in touch with clients threw social media such as Facebook and Instagram and by word of mouth.
My Advice is always be loyalty and truthful. My clients depends on me for my candles and I make sure that they get good quality work. If my clients have a problem I solve the problem. My customers come first. I wants my customers to come back for more of my candles.
In the beginning of my entrepreneurship, I had to learn how to fully engage with diversity of customers and shoppers. The best advice and strategies that I can give regarding gaining and maintaining brand loyalty are the following:
– Be honest and forthright with all customers and business cohorts
– Listen to shopper’s opinions and concerns
– Always be kind and provide great customer service
– Invest in a strong social media presence
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
By word of mouth and family & friends. By doing events and traveling from state to state.
I built my social media by posting videos, pictures & engaging my followers to tag other people who may benefit from or enjoy a specific post. I be entertaining and I use humor to engage.
Building a social media presence has truly helped my business. Through tags, photo & video uploads and marketing, I was able to grow my media pages. Customers love to see the events that I participate in such as popup shops; festivals, craft shows and holiday parades.
