Alright, Victoria thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?

I am very grateful to be a business owner. It pushes you into purpose, allows you to do what you live, and strengthen you in every single way. I have worked regular jobs and that’s where I learned my structure. Every job I worked at, my focus was to gain knowledge and experience. I paid attention to how they operated, the systems the had in place, how to excel in customer service skills, and what it requires to stay on top. I consider it when things get slow, but it is a part of the journey. Our biggest focuses goes towards upgrades to maintain everything. We invest out of our pockets, so these things are important.

VivaVik Artistry is a service-based business that specializes in Full glam makeup Artistry, special effects makeup artistry, spoken word artistry, art, and custom wig units through the GoldenLUXE Hair Collection, makeovers for a cause, outreach, public speaking, and community service. Victoria is known for dramatic and special effects makeup looks, giving back to the community, and also as an upcoming Spoken word artist.

We are the one of the only Makeup brands pushing to service the community and give back with our profits, through our Artistry.

We are grateful for the lives that’s been touched by sitting in that makeup chair, rather it’s girl talk, uplifting, empowering, or finding your purpose. It’s a real Vivafied experience!

We offer various 1-on-1 classes, full glam makeup services, special effects makeup services, clarity calls, public speaking bookings, appearance booking, hair coloring, wig making, and more.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?

That everything is not going to happen when you want it to. During the time I wanted to relaunch my business, I set out a plan for everything to be completed. Working with various designers, maintaining business, taking clients, being innovative, marketing on social media platforms, creating reels and setting things up for the launch clouded me. I had my set thoughts on when I wanted to launch. I only announced the month and because of delays it took 2 months to finalize things. I learned to enjoy the process and celebrate each win separately. It will keep you hopeful during you waiting season. When I launched it brought in so many new clients and my first Celebrity client. It was worth it in the end. Trust God’s timing. He’s always right on time

Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

The journey hasn’t always been smooth, neither is life. Business brings out some great strength, discipline, wisdom, and endurance. A lot of times the hardest challenges were making time for those I care about. I experienced a major reset and my business is what brought me hope during the most challenging time in my life. VivaVik Artistry is what made me believe that a better tomorrow was coming so I put a lot of time into building her up. I grew overtime to a point of realizing that time you can’t get back, so I’ll block off time to be there for special moments. It’s called trial and error.
