We were lucky to catch up with Victoria Mack recently and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Victoria thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
Since my childhood my heart has always had a soft spot for giving back to my community, at the age of 12 years old I started doing mission work at my childhood church Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church every 4th Saturday of the month for at least 10yrs, I would go with my Mom, Aunts and Cousins to feed the homeless through the church homeless program.
Being raised by a single parent (Mom) and having my uncle Robert take on the responsibility that my father chose to leave behind, I found so much joy in giving back to help me cope with life struggles I was dealing with like the absence of my father, I was beyond blessed to have so much as kid and I wanted to share my blessings with everyone who needed help for the rest of my life.

Victoria, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My organization Victorious1 Heart and Soul Foundation is a non-profit organization on a mission to help ease poverty within kids, teens and adults by providing food, clothing, coats, shoes and toiletries to those in need.
We are guided by the belief that no children, teens or adults should live in poverty.
Our goal is to provide the community with different programs that will help reconstruct and save many lives, we believe this vision will bring hope and prosperity to all of those who are in need.
I am most proud of how many people my organization has feed and clothed over the last 10 1/2 years, so many individuals and families are without food to eat, clean water drink, clothing, health care and housing, my team of volunteers and I just try to do whatever we can to give back.
Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
I built my social media audience for my nonprofit organization by simply using hashtags, I would use the limited amount of 30 hashtags on every single post with no shame lol.
I did a lot of marketing outside of social media as well like going out into the community talking with people and by the end of our conversation that particular person would ask me “Are you guys on social media?”
During the time of the Covid19 lockdown I came up with a few creative ideas to get people more involved in my organization like selling custom t-shirts, mask and accessories with all the earnings made going towards feeding the homeless, it’s a lot of things you can do to grow your social media, I would suggest doing some research first and see what route works for you.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Well I think just simply being my organic self helped build my reputation, a long with my organization I deal with 3 other industries which are: television & film, food production and cosmetics, every single industry I’m involved in, I am always myself.
When I was younger my mom worked in Public Relations for Quaker Oats in Downtown Chicago, my mom would take me with her to a lot of different business and fashion events, in those moments of watching my mom the one thing I would always noticed, she was always herself.
When I go out and feed the homeless, I am always myself, I talk sports with the guys and beauty/fashion with the women, having a great time, in those moments it warms my heart completely that I am able to put a smile on their faces during their darkest hours.
