We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Victoria Guglielmi a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Victoria thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Too often the media represents innovation as something magical that only high-flying tech billionaires and upstarts engage in – but the truth is almost every business owner has to regularly innovate in small and big ways in order for their businesses to survive and thrive. Can you share a story that highlights something innovative you’ve done over the course of your career?
The most innovative thing I have done in my career has been to push the boundaries of the status quo. To see where there are gaps in the market and find ways to collaborate and change things up! I strive to bring new ideas and be a breath of fresh air by collaborating with musicians, writing unique storylines in video content, playing with prop cars, and collaborating with interior designers, artists, local makers, etc. My goal is always to evoke an emotional connection with the right audience, and getting people talking – creating a buzz!

Victoria, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My name is Victoria Guglielmi – my friends call me Tori. After 12 years in marketing & 5 in Real Estate, I have combined what I love about them both — providing a niche service for REALTORS that did not exist until now.
The service I offer is a combination of artistry, innovation, content creation, design, and marketing. When a listing agent preps a multi-million dollar home to be sold, marketing is about strategy and creativity. That is where I come in. I help with everything from prepping, staging, and styling — to writing videos, directing, and producing video content for social media. My objective and mission are to help the REALTOR receive exposure through fun and forward-thinking lifestyle content.
From there I have since grown my services and capabilities. I am passionate about bridging the gap between branding and strategy while creating innovative content. I believe good marketing is about effective storytelling; pulling on an emotional connection with your ideal audience. With this in mind, I offer consulting and ongoing support to my clients.
My personal and professional mission is to elevate and inspire individuals, entrepreneurs, and brands to their maximum potential. Serving as a resource, friend, and teammate to my clients as they pursue their goals in business and life.
Content marketing is not just about social media. There are so many opportunities to share your stories and brand with the world. For example, podcasting is a superior form of content in my opinion. Currently, I am working on growing my client base, opening up the opportunity to work with additional entrepreneurs looking to start their own show — helping with content strategy, guest relations, branding, and marketing.
I am proudest of the growth the clients I work with have seen in their businesses. Marketing is about a million tiny efforts that together create a feeling that sticks with their audience and keeps them top of mind!
Have you ever had to pivot?
Before I launched my business I was working as the marketing director for a top-producing real estate team. After a few years in this role, I knew I wanted more and that I was ready for a different challenge so I had to pivot and create my own business plan around the job I wanted that didn’t exist. I wanted to work with just listings, and I didn’t want to wear the hat of the agent brokering the deal and selling — I wanted to have the ability to focus solely on the marketing in real estate and beyond. I love design, story-telling, and the process involved. The only answer was simple, start the business where I offer this single, very niche, service! So I did, and my business is thriving!

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building my audience on social media has and always will be about story-telling and thoughtful consideration of my ideal client/ and community. I am not interested in overnight fame, nor do I want to be anyone but myself. Therefore, every single day I come back to my ‘value’ list, and talking to my ideal client avatar— focusing on sharing what is authentic, and going to be worthy of their attention. It’s still growing, and I hope to see it flourish even more in year 3 (2023)! My advice is to remember that you can have 5M of the wrong followers — it’s about finding and focusing on the 2,000 ideal clients/ buyers or community!!!!
