We were lucky to catch up with Victoria Dume recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Victoria, thanks for joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
There was a point in my career where I realized I didn’t want to just “coach” anymore—I wanted to create a movement. I had built a solid foundation helping women through mindset shifts and motivational work, but something began to feel off. The more I saw surface-level advice being recycled and repackaged in the coaching space, the more I felt called to go deeper.
Women weren’t just needing more information—they were overwhelmed with it. What they were craving was transformation, and transformation doesn’t happen through mindset alone. It happens when the body feels safe enough to receive it. My famous quote my community knows me for is: “It’s only information until you make it transformation, and transformation can’t begin without integration.”
The defining moment came when I gave myself permission to completely reimagine my work. I stopped trying to fit into traditional coaching boxes and started naming what I was really doing: helping women regulate their nervous systems, reconnect with their bodies, and integrate their healing in real-time—not just talk about it. I began creating immersive experiences, retreats, and safe containers where women could not only learn about healing, but feel it, practice it, and embody it.
I’ll never forget the moment I took that leap of faith and put a deposit down for a conference room—no blueprint, no guarantee, just a deep inner knowing that women needed a space to heal, connect, and rise. That one decision sparked the beginning of something far greater than I imagined.
What started as a bold idea to host my very first women’s retreat has now blossomed into an annual, transformative experience. This year, we’re proudly hosting our 4th annual PowHer Women’s Retreat—a sacred space where women gather not just to escape, but to expand, integrate, and come home to themselves.
From that first room filled with nervous excitement to now collaborating with powerhouse sponsors like Orlando Health and Nestre, this journey has been nothing short of divine alignment. It’s a reminder that when you say yes to your calling—even when it’s scary, even when it’s unknown—doors open, support shows up, and impact unfolds in ways you could never fully plan for.
That shift changed everything. I stopped chasing titles and started building legacy. My work became more honest, more aligned, and more transformative—because it was rooted in truth, not trends.
Victoria, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Several years ago, I found myself navigating a season of deep emotional pain—grief, anxiety, divorce, and a sense that I had become a version of myself shaped more by survival than purpose. I realized healing wasn’t going to happen by accident—I had to intentionally unlearn, rewire, and reconnect with my body, mind, and spirit. That led me to study nervous system health, subconscious patterning, somatic healing, and integrative wellness—and eventually, I turned my healing into my mission.
Today, I offer transformational programs, retreats, workshops, and online community experiences that blend science, spirituality, and somatics. My signature approach helps women move beyond surface-level self-help and into deep integration. We work on nervous system regulation, healing past wounds, building inner safety, and activating a life rooted in wholeness—not just achievement.
I specialize in helping high-capacity women—those who are “doing all the things” but still feel stuck, disconnected, or exhausted—realign with who they truly are beneath the expectations, fear, and burnout. Whether it’s through my 1:1 coaching, immersive retreats, group programs like the Cocoon Challenge, or my online workshops, everything I create is about transformation through embodiment, not just information.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just talk about healing—I create spaces where it’s safe to actually feel it. I’m most proud of the community of women who return to my retreats and events year after year because they’re not just learning tools—they’re integrating change that ripples into every part of their lives.
More than anything, I want people to know: your healing, your expansion, your wholeness—it’s possible. And it’s powerful.
Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?
Yes—there are a few resources that have deeply influenced the way I approach both personal transformation and entrepreneurship.
One of the most impactful books I’ve ever read is You Are the Placebo by Dr. Joe Dispenza. It shifted how I understand the mind-body connection and helped me see how much of our reality is shaped by the stories and beliefs we carry. That book gave me both the science and the spiritual insight to understand how change really happens—and it’s become a foundational lens through which I guide others in my work.
Another game-changer for me was discovering The Emotion Code by Dr. Bradley Nelson. It gave me a deeper appreciation for how trapped emotions and unprocessed energy can influence not just our health, but our confidence, creativity, and even our ability to lead and make aligned decisions. That work helped me integrate more somatic and energetic tools into my coaching and retreats.
And one of my all-time favorite books is The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz. That book lit a fire in me to not only believe in myself but to move boldly, dream bigger, and stop waiting for perfect timing. It’s such a powerful reminder that our mindset is either the ceiling or the launchpad—and we get to choose which one it is.
Each of these resources helped me build the kind of internal foundation I now help others create: one where healing, belief, and bold action are not separate paths—but interconnected steps toward wholeness and impact.
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
One of the most defining moments of resilience in my life was navigating the end of my marriage. Divorce isn’t something you ever imagine yourself walking through—especially when you’ve poured your whole heart into building a life with someone. But I found myself at a crossroads where I had to choose between staying in a version of life that no longer reflected who I was becoming… or bravely choosing myself.
That season cracked me wide open. I wasn’t just grieving the end of a relationship—I was also grieving the version of me who had ignored her intuition for the sake of keeping the peace. I had to rebuild my identity, rewire old beliefs, and create safety in my nervous system all over again. It was uncomfortable and it required a level of self-honesty I wasn’t used to.
But it was also the beginning of something beautiful. That pain became the portal to deeper healing and alignment. I dove into the work—somatic healing, nervous system regulation, subconscious rewiring—and started living from a place of truth, not survival.
That experience didn’t just make me stronger—it made me softer, wiser, and more whole. It’s what birthed the work I now do with other women: helping them remember their power, reclaim their voice, and create lives that feel like freedom.
