We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Victoria Daniel a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Victoria thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Have you signed with an agent or manager? Why or why not?
I have signed with an agent. I signed with an agent for direction, trust, and to learn more about the business side of modeling. As a signed model, it’s more genuine connections, you learn to become more professional about your craft, you are challenged more, which means more growth, and you become more present while enduring the journey.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
Hi, I’m Victoria, a signed model with Lmodelz, out Indianapolis, Indiana, and a notary with a diploma in Paralegal Studies. Before signing with Lmodelz, my focus was solely on completing my Paralegal program. I finished in January 2022 with honors and could be more proud of myself. So far, I’ve gotten the experience to work in the law field of Real Estate Law and it was challenging but rewarding but nothing like the freedom of creating and expressing yourself through art, which is modeling for me. I’m honored grateful for the journey I’ve been on and excited for what’s ahead.
Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
A lesson I had to unlearn was how to love. The year of 2021, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. As I’m witnessing her pain and her change drastically,( physically and mentally), I had to ask GOD to teach me how to love again. Everything around me was changing and I had to find common ground in the mist of the chaos.

Do you think there is something that non-creatives might struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can shed some light?
I see optimistically. I want to share this epiphany that gives insight as to why I see optimistically. Last week, I made a breakfast smoothie, that consisted of three different types of fruit; a banana, blueberries and a pineapple. Do you know what they all have in common? A seed. Three different types of fruit but even when blended together, the common goal is still met. The same as humans. We all start out in seed form, a white dot, but every seed has a foundation and soil of where they’re planted. Once planted, they’re watered and nurtured differently and start to grow , bloom and sprout. When this seed starts to sprout, this seed starts to go on an adventure called life. The environment, the background, the morals, the values, the principals, the influence, the wisdom, the knowledge, the insight, all that shapes the perspective molds the seed. We’re ALL different but when meeting a common goal, our differences create magic.
