Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Victor Vallejo. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Victor, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s been the most meaningful project you’ve worked on?
This project is meaningful because it helps families grow and strengthen in three key areas: Faith, Character, and Generosity. These values are essential for building a more united, strong, and prosperous society. Through this approach, we aim to inspire and guide families to live with purpose and make a positive impact on their community.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
We are Víctor and Flor Vallejo, married for 29 years, and blessed with three adult children aged 27, 25, and 19. Two of them are already married, bringing even more joy to our lives with the wonderful gift of our first granddaughter.
With a ministerial career spanning more than 30 years now, we are the founders of the nonprofit ministry “Compass to the Nations,” an organization dedicated to providing biblical digital resources through social media, television, and radio. We also host seminars and conferences focused on strengthening marriages, families, and businesses.
Our work is rooted not only in our ministerial experience but also in our business background. Over 15 years ago, we established VF Media Consulting, a family-run production company with a skilled team specializing in digital media, professional photography, and web design. We provide creative consulting to businesses, corporations, and entrepreneurs, helping them connect with their audience and increase sales.
What sets us apart is our ability to deliver high-quality, creative content, always grounded in transparency, values, and honesty. We take great pride in maintaining a balance between enriching our generation with moral and biblical values while also upholding business excellence—stress-free.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
In our ministry and business, we use various marketing strategies to promote our services and reach new clients. However, nothing compares to personal connections and public relations. Over the years, I have learned and confirmed time and again that clients are not just looking for a service provider; they are looking for a friend, a mentor to guide them.
For this reason, when I approach a potential client, my goal is not to sell them a product or an idea but to get to know them better, understand their needs and frustrations, and offer my help in a genuine way. For me, asking someone “How can I serve you?” is sincere because my true purpose is to bring value to their life and business.
How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?
To be honest, starting my business financially was not easy at first. From a ministerial perspective, our biblical principles on stewardship prevented me from going into debt with loans I couldn’t repay (and I truly thank God I never did).
However, my creativity kicked in unexpectedly. I like to put it this way: in the beginning, my best allies were pawn shops, eBay, and Craigslist (laughs). Instead of focusing on expensive, brand-new equipment, I concentrated on developing a hard work mindset—but in a strategic way: producing more with less effort while maintaining excellence.
In the end, my clients’ recognition was not based on the tools I used but on the quality and impact of the final product.
