Alright, Victor thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
I owe everything to my incredible parents. They risked everything, leaving their homeland to build a better future for our family. Their unwavering dedication to hard work and sacrifice has instilled in me a strong work ethic and a relentless pursuit of excellence. I’m eternally grateful for their love, guidance, and the countless opportunities they’ve provided. Their sacrifices have paved the way for my success, and I will forever cherish their love and support.

My heritage has significantly influenced my approach to pizza-making. The smoky, earthy flavors of wood-fired ovens have always been a part of my life, a constant reminder of the culinary magic that can be achieved with fire.
As a wood-fired pizza chef, I’m passionate about bringing the authentic flavors of Oaxaca to every pizza I create. I infuse traditional Oaxacan ingredients and techniques into my pizzas, resulting in a unique and unforgettable dining experience.
I believe that the soul of a pizza lies in its crust, which is why I’m meticulous in crafting a perfectly charred, chewy crust. The intense heat of the wood-fired oven creates a crispy exterior while maintaining a soft, airy interior.
I’ve embarked on a journey to share the authentic flavors of wood-fired pizza with the world. To bring our passion to a wider audience, we’ve invested in a mobile wood-fired oven, allowing us to take our culinary creations to the streets. You can find us roaming the of Ventura County, partnering with local breweries, wineries, and hosting pop-up events. While we love connecting with the community, the heart of our business lies in catering private events, where we can tailor our menu to each client’s unique preferences.
We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
What began as a passion project and a side hustle has now blossomed into a full-time career. After years of balancing a 40-hour workweek with my culinary pursuits, I made the bold decision to pivot and dedicate myself entirely to this venture. It wasn’t an easy choice at first, but truly thankful for my family’s support.
