Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Victor Lopez . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Victor thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
The most risky move I have taken starts when I was 18 years old. After I graduated high school I knew what I wanted to be, but I didn’t know the best way to go about executing the idea. A business owner was all I could think about even as a young child. I tried college, not just once, but twice and it simply didn’t feel right. I felt out of place each day and unsure if I was making the right decisions although I knew what I was going to school for, business administration and automotive & high performance tech, was what I knew I was good at. Fast forward 5 years and I’m still not where I thought I should be. I was working with family as an HVAC tech, then moved on to an auto parts salesman, next a RV technician. It wasn’t until I found myself in a near death experience where I knew there needed to be a change in my daily routine. I went to work at a warehouse, then I quit within a week, and back to the auto parts I go. I had my first child being born and I knew that I wanted the best for them and I knew that where I was, simply was not cutting it. So one day I saw a small trailer for sale at $400, but I only haf $200 left in my account. My lady helped with an extra $200, I rushed to buy the trailer and I quit my job. I had no money left, I had near half a tank of fuel, but I had a vision that felt as if it was burning me from the inside out. I landed my first gig and I never looked back.
I didn’t know what was going to come out of this, but I knew I wanted more then I was given from the jobs I was working at. I knew I wanted to become more than what I was. I knew that this had to be the one and only way to make my vision a reality not just for myself, but also for those whom I love.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
Work ethic…
Without a great work ethic, you will not make it.
You have to ask yourself each day you wake up if this is where you want to be. You must know this answer so you know exactly where to put your energy and focus. If your answer is, yes, then you need to be willing to give it all that you have. You need to discipline yourself to get rid of thoughts that makes you want to slow down, take a break, quit, not show up, take shortcuts, and the list goes on.
This is where you have to dig in deep and show yourself that you are willing to be the best version of yourself so you can achieve what it is that you want.
Being this way helped within my industry because each client saw that I was willing to do what it took to complete each service. They saw that I will male sure to show up on time or earlier, and they knew that by choosing my business, that they will be taken care of, even when the jobs seemed more than what they thought can be done.
As long as I kept the great work ethic, my reputation will follow.

We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
Business was not always busy every single day of the week. There have been times where I went three weeks with only one service or none. I will not lie and say that I didn’t think k of hanging up the uniform and going back to a normal 9-5, but what would I have gained by doing so? Staying in this was one of the most challenging adventures I have been on mentally. You don’t think it can be that way when you first start because of how it looks in the beginning, but I firmly believe that when you desire some thing so much you will do what needs to be done and you won’t leave it stranded.
