We recently connected with Victor Loo and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Victor, thanks for joining us today. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
As a business owner/ principal consultant, and model, I find myself at the crossroads of varied professional arenas, utilizing my distinct skills and insights to navigate through multiple industries. In my capacity as a principal consultant, I am tasked with offering expert advice, strategies, and solutions to organizations, drawing on a comprehensive understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. This role requires an exceptional level of expertise, along with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, empowering me to drive significant change within the businesses I support.
At the same time, my work as a model and entrepreneur captures the essence of the entrepreneurial spirit, highlighting not only my personal brand but also my prowess in managing and expanding a business. This combination of responsibilities necessitates a fusion of creativity, marketing knowledge, and operational management capabilities. I am required to tackle the intricacies of the fashion and modeling industry, including branding, collaborations, and engagements, while also managing the strategic and everyday operations of my business.
Merging these roles amplifies my adaptability and worth in both spheres. My journey as a model and business owner enriches my consulting endeavors with actionable insights into branding, consumer behavior, and market trends. Similarly, the expertise I’ve gained in consulting informs my business strategies, aiding me in uncovering opportunities, enhancing operations, and setting my brand apart in a fiercely competitive marketplace.
Ultimately, I am uniquely positioned to create a profound impact through my multifaceted career, fostering innovation and excellence in both my consulting practice and business ventures. My distinctive combination of skills and experiences not only distinguishes me but also empowers me to make substantial contributions to the industries I am part of in meaningful and transformative ways.
The pandemic taught me the importance of being unprepared for the unforeseeable, leading me to reassess what truly brings joy to myself and others. Embracing change, I decided to concentrate on my consulting business, allowing for greater self-care and a better balance between work and life. The mantra “love what you do, do what you love” resonates deeply with me, fueling my ambition to blend my passions for healthcare and fashion under the banner of #fashionintegration. This blend of arts, fashion, and healthcare is a perfect match for me. As fashion, makeup, and hairstyles evolve year by year, I adapt with ease to the ever-changing scene. I believe that any positive self-transformation or societal shift is always in vogue.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.

Cultivating an irreplaceable reputation as both a fashion model and principal consultant requires a strategic approach that blends personal branding, unwavering quality, focused specialization, and ongoing education. Here’s my strategy for achieving this:
To forge a strong personal brand, I define my unique value proposition by pinpointing what sets me apart in both the fashion and consulting realms. This may include my approach to wellness, executive coaching techniques, unique fashion modeling style, or advocacy efforts. I maintain consistency across all platforms, ensuring that my messaging and visual branding remain uniform to reinforce my brand identity.
Consistently delivering quality is paramount. Whether on the runway, coaching executives, or leading a wellness workshop, the caliber of my work stands as a testament to my dedication. I leverage client testimonials to establish trust and credibility, encouraging satisfied clients to share their experiences.
Specializing and leading with innovation involves focusing on excelling and innovating in specific areas. Staying abreast of trends in both the fashion and consulting sectors establishes me as a visionary leader.
Continuous learning is key. Engaging in professional development activities enhances my skills and underscores my commitment to excellence. Cross-applying insights from one aspect of my career to another enables me to offer unique perspectives and solutions.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Building a consistent brand on social media as a principal consultant in healthcare and a fashion model is a journey that demands a strategic blend of professionalism and personal flair. Here’s my approach to achieving this delicate balance:
Firstly, articulating my unique value proposition is critical. I delve into what sets me apart in both the healthcare consultancy and fashion modeling spheres, focusing on core messages, values, and aesthetics that define my brand. Understanding and precisely targeting my audience is next. I delve deep into their preferences, challenges, and values, enabling me to create content that resonates with healthcare professionals and fashion enthusiasts alike.
Maintaining visual consistency across all my social media platforms is another cornerstone of my strategy. I adopt a cohesive color scheme, font styles, and imagery that reflect my brand identity, ensuring that whether I’m posting about healthcare consultancy or fashion modeling, my content is instantly recognizable as mine.
Crafting a consistent voice and tone in all my communications is essential. Whether sharing insights on healthcare trends or my latest modeling work, I ensure my messaging reflects my personality and professional ethos, building a reliable and trustworthy persona.
I commit to delivering valuable and relevant content to my audience, combining my expertise in healthcare consultancy with engaging and inspiring fashion content. This unique blend keeps my audience informed, entertained, and inspired. Regular engagement with my followers is key; I respond to comments, messages, and participate in conversations to build a community around my brand, showing that I value their interaction and feedback.
Storytelling is a powerful tool I use to connect with my audience, sharing my journey, experiences, and the behind-the-scenes of my work in both healthcare and fashion. This approach makes my brand more relatable and forges a stronger connection with my audience.
Diversifying my content with photos, videos, infographics, and live sessions allows me to share my knowledge and experiences in dynamic ways, catering to the different preferences of my audience. Planning and scheduling my posts ensure a consistent presence on social media, keeping my audience engaged and my brand top of mind.
Lastly, I regularly monitor the performance of my social media activities and remain open to adapting my strategy. This means analyzing which types of content resonate most with my audience and refining my approach to better serve them.
By implementing these strategies, I aim to establish a consistent and recognizable brand on social media that effectively bridges my roles as a principal consultant in healthcare and a fashion model. This not only showcases my diverse skill set but also creates a cohesive brand identity that appeals to a broad audience.
