We were lucky to catch up with Victor Green recently and have shared our conversation below.
Victor, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the story of how you went from this being just an idea to making it into something real.
Since I can remember I’ve always been into electronics whether it be TV, games, computers, cameras or even small gadgets. Around the age of 11 my older cousins and I would find joy in the day by finding any opportunity to be creative. Those opportunities involved taking photos, making/editing videos, and even recording and mixing songs. This passion for creativity has always been inside 0f me just growing over the years I just didn’t know exactly where to place it. Over the years I grew a certain appreciation of life which then translated into cherishing memories, some of yourself and important ones involving the people you cherish. In 2018 I decided to finally put my appreciation of life and my passion for creativity together. My daughter, Myla and her older sister, Trinity had their birthday party and I recorded and edited my very first video. The sensation of knowing I would be able to have this memory to cherish forever was unmatched. Then came the idea what if I could give this feeling to others….
I believe imagination and reality aren’t too far apart. I believe that they are two different entities but they walk the same line so having the idea of doing this as a business translates to me that I can do it. I knew in the back of my mind that if I never acted on my dreams that dream is all they would ever be and when I leave this Earth my goal is to have minimal regret. Ever since I pushed the button on starting this endeavor, with each project propelled me further and further towards the direction that I wanted to go in. That’s the moment that I knew that this was for me.

Victor, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m currently 26 years old but growing up my parents, Vincent and Charlesetta Green placed me in many of sports which all required one necessary trait. Discipline. It isn’t motivation or inspiration that keeps one on track it is the discipline along with consistency that is mandatory in order to have progress. My cousin and also mentor, Jamespaul Bryant who let me know that success is not about being the most talented or the strongest but who is the most consistent. At times I believe it is within human nature to waiver but as long as you are self aware enough to assess your actions and reconnect with your core morals and reasoning nothing can set you back.
Currently I offer a broad amount of services as long as we it involves a plan and a camera we can get it done but I specialize in solo/family portraits and event videography. I connect with events really well because I aim to capture the smallest moments that may escape your memory in the future but also mean the most to us. How old a child looked, how your mom smiled, how your spouse expressed their self on your wedding day. All of which can fade with time but with photos and video it can capture those moments for the generations to come.
I want any potential clients and supporters to know that I will go to the extreme to capture your life’s favorite moments. It is a safe place with me because I will treat your memories and passions just as I would treat my own. I believe by providing a positive space and producing positive emotions/feelings will prompt people to project that positivity forward to the next being and so on simultaneously making the world a better place one person at a time.

Have you ever had to pivot?
Life is all about balance in my perspective rocking between actions and reactions. This life hardly goes to plan exactly how you envisioned so you always have to be able to act and react to certain situations and obstacles. Water can put out a fire but the sun’s heat can evaporate water. When weather got cold man made jackets, when mice were continuously hunted they grew larger ears to even out the playing field. So I firmly believe my entire life I’ve been pivoting and adapting to circumstances to ensure my own balance.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
I’ve also been a head first into the abyss kind of guy. I like to handle problems as soon as I can and as quickly as I can. Which is a good trait to have but in always being in attack mode I eliminate the problem solving process which ruins my chance of having the best outcome which can also lead to a lesson being missed. Lessons are meant to be learned from if not you will continue to remain in the same spot wondering as to why these problems are revolving.
