My Name Is Vickie Garcia, the founder and visionary behind Kilos Clothing, a streetwear line that’s about flipping narratives and redefining what it means to hustle. Inspired by my brother’s 17-year sentence for selling drugs, I decided to take that experience and turn it into something positive. Instead of selling kilos of coke, she’s now selling kilos of clothes—a powerful shift that reflects resilience, transformation, and the strength to rise above challenging circumstances.

Kilos Clothing is more than just fashion; it’s a statement. With each piece, I create clothing that speaks to individuality and represents a reimagined hustle, one that honors the grit and drive of the communities she cares about. From essentials to bold statement pieces, Kilos Clothing empowers people to embrace who they are and where they come from.

What sets Kilos apart is this authenticity and the journey behind it. I’m most proud of how my brand has connected with people, becoming a part of their lives and stories. How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

I Was Working For This Company Name Fresh Direct , I Was On The Verge Of Leaving When I Suddenly Had An Idea To Recreate A Bulletproof Vest With Designs On It . .. I Funded My First 5 Vest With My Last check from fresh direct & my ex whom was a stripper at the time , also contributed money to help jump start my business .
