Vertis, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Looking back at internships and apprenticeships can be interesting, because there is so much variety in people’s experiences – and often those experiences inform our own leadership style. Do you have an interesting story from that stage of your career that you can share with us?
One of the most memorable moments I’ve experienced is back in the late 90’s I was a Associate Minister for a particular Semi-Large Church. I was positioned over Youth-Ministry but I never had patience with children. Maybe God saw on me what I could not see in myself. I ended up growing that Ministry by 50% within a year. I relate to to the young people and their visions to become who they have destined themselves to become. Never allowed someone to dictate your dreams…

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am a Full-Tume Senior Pastor/Marriage Counselor, and Philanthropist in the DFW Metroplex. I have two degrees I. religious Studies, and Family Counseling/Divinity.. I founded Transition II Transformation Outreach in 2016 and we have accomplished to feed over 10,000 within the last 3 years. The thing I am most proud to have accomplished is reaching back in our community to build a bridge between the people and the church. What I believe sets me apart from others is the ability to go into the community and meet the people on their platform.
