We were lucky to catch up with Veronika Vidal recently and have shared our conversation below.
Veronika, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you open up about a risk you’ve taken – what it was like taking that risk, why you took the risk and how it turned out?
My life changing risk started when I decided to finish my relationship, to stay in the united states without family or any support, when this led me to loose everything, as I went through divorce and bankruptcy and finally lost myself in a spiritual journey. One day I decided that I have to find myself again. I walked out of my “spiritual family” house with 170$ in my pocket and 1 suitcase. I had no home and no family to go to. Today I’m building my business in new wonderful relationship, loving my life fully

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Veronika Vidal, I am a singer, songwriter and voice coach. For the past 4 years I’ve been establishing my coaching services
My company name is “Vilosophy” which stands for building new philosophy connecting Voice, Vitality and Value. It’s not just about voice or public speaking, it’s about ability to express your value to the world, whether value of yourself or your brand/ company – Vilosophy is about speaking from your authenticity and values.
My coaching programs help you build confidence and public presence, I develop them based on voice exercises/ public speaking, as well as on coaching sessions that help you release limited beliefs and establish self value.
I have worked with individual brands ( beauty artists/ immigration specialist) as well as with corporate companies ( telecommunication company) helping to establish the voice of the brand and connect company values with the audience.
In May 2024 I have presented my teaching method on 58th International Voice Foundation Conference, as well as was a part of the Gala Concert Performance.
In June 2024 I have hosted Film Festival in Miami, for which I have written an anthem and performed it as well.
I am proud of the connections I create and people I have pleasure to work with. My surrounding is my powerful tool, among which I find inspiration, support and ability to grow and establish myself. I am proud of the community I have created in New York for woman empowerment.

Do you have any stories of times when you almost missed payroll or any other near death experiences for your business?
After I created my first online program and sold it ( to my first 11 students) I have not used any advertisement. I simply asked a person, who I was collaborating with to spread the word among her community and those 11 people were signed to my program, since they already had interaction with me via webinars and online program through another professional. At that time I was thinking ” I ONLY have 11 people”.. oh how was I wrong!!! After one month program and announcing just through social media that this program runs another month, I got another 5 new students and those 11 continued with me, so total 16 people and 2 different groups. It felt great, yet I was not satisfied with numbers. 3rd months and I had only 3 people from those 16 staying with me, although the price point was different and all 3 chose additional service, I was exhausted from 2 months of non stop teaching, and because there were no paid ads or any type of marketing used, the 4th month I got 0 students… I thought that my program suck, I thought that I was doing something wrong, on top of that being burnt out of those 3 months, I was about to quit… I took the whole month of from teaching. When I started analyzing and taking business coaching sessions, I realized that I just never took care of marketing and targeting! If I would’ve started paying ads at the end of the first month of my program, I could’ve built a good amount of prospect students and lead them to the course later so I would not burn out and continuously grow my course. This is when I realized that ads and budget for the ads is what I don’t know and what I need to concentrate on for sustainable business.

Embracing My Journey: From Travel Agent to Wellness Coach and Beyond
In my twenties, I was often labeled as someone who jumped from one passion to another. Committing to a single pursuit felt tedious, and I would lose interest quickly. I struggled with this, blaming myself for not sticking with one path long enough to achieve success and growth. However, I eventually realized that this “flaw” actually helped me avoid stagnation and allowed me to accumulate knowledge and experience across various fields.
My journey in working with people began when I was a travel agent in an office environment. It was then that I discovered my desire to be my own boss and dedicate time to my personal development. I decided to take a leap and become wellness coach. At that point, I had already completed my holistic nutrition certification and a plant-based chef course. With excitement and a bit of fear, I created my first advertisement and quit my job on the spot.
I had no idea what to expect, but my first client was located two and a half hours away. I was more than willing to travel, fueled by the belief someone had in me. Six months later, I realized that my work as a wellness coach wasn’t fully addressing the emotional needs of my clients. This realization prompted me to pivot once again, and I became certified as an astrologist. Initially, I sought to understand how astrology could serve as a tool for self-development and improve people’s quality of life.
Through this new community of people in self development and astrology, my passion for music and voice emerged, leading to another turning point. I was invited to host my first webinar on confidence and voice. In 2021, I welcomed my first client for a voice session and received my first request for an original song.
Fast forward to today, my services have evolved from helping individuals enhance their well-being through food and cooking classes to empowering them to use their voices for personal development and creating impactful presentations in the marketplace.
