Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Veronika Radkevich. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Veronika, thanks for joining us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
Well it sort of difficult to realize as im 32 y.o now and my first camera was at the age of 16 since than i absolutely fall in love with photography art filmmaking story telling content creation etc. And i believe Im never going to stop. I love to travel and explore life with my camera
Veronika, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I born in Belarus Minsk and my first camera i got at the age of 16 photography was a hobby, I got in photo industry at the age of 18 i was working at the photography studio – taking pictures for the graduation albums, had to travel a lot meet kids and teachers in the actual schools, etc it was fun but not long. With in a few years i move to Egypt, Sharm el sheikh as i get job as a hotel photographer there – that was lovely experience i got my manager – he was my mentor same time / and a great friend now he was into photography for many years and started with film in 1998 in Turkey and i start working with him 2011 that was a lot to learn from him in photography and sales, my work was commision based and he always motivate me to grow professionally and sell more, i was really sucsessful in the industry at the age of 21. Years later i move to Paris and start working in fashion industry work with designers bloggers and influencers. Photograph catwalks in Paris fashion weeks during 2015-2017 Untill i decided to move to the US, Miami. Started everything from scratch get into wedding industry, headshots, family pictures, commercial sessions, tried real estate, aerial photography. Few years after develop my own production company with filmakers, photographer, drone operators. Continue with my art and step away from commercial to focus on my fine art collection and writing a scenario for the movie. I am very proud of my path that i went thru and i really love my journey as an artist and creator.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
As a goal i was always want to share the emotions that people feel when they hire a photographer or team that is always a special moment for them that they will cherish and remember with their loved onces years after.
Now is a next stage of my career and i want to share my fine art – its a landscape photography that will inspire people to travel more to show how bautiful is the nature around the planet, how different are people their culture food and religion there is so many stories to tell thru the photography.
What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
The most rewarding in every career or craft that you enjoy the process you love the result you enjoy your work as u do what u love and get paid for it.
