We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Veronica Zuniga. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Veronica below.
Alright, Veronica thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?
Before Inspire Nutrition, I lived a very unhealthy lifestyle which affected my health and relationships. After a medical visit, I decided to change my life forever and began my journey with Herbalife products. With Herbalife Nutrition I lost 107 pounds. Shortly after I opened my first nutrition shop in Patterson, Ca called Cornerstone Healing & Wellness Center. After the hit of Covid, I was forced to close my business. I moved from California to the state of Ohio and GOD gave me a second opportunity to minister to customers and assist them in lifestyle changes. In 2022 I met my fiancé Pastor. Modesto “Tito” Rodriguez manages Inspire Nutrition. He is the best barista. Not only is he sociable but he makes it a point to let everyone know they are family and as family, our priority is their spiritual and physical health.
At Inspire Nutrition our mission is to reach our community. Our goal is not only to build relationships but to bring awareness to the lives of individuals with healthy lifestyles and habits. Our goal is to educate our community on how to live a healthier lifestyle by knowing their bodies, and the importance of proper nutrition and exercise. Educating everyone that the human body was created beautifully and perfectly in the image of GOD and how with the use of proper nutrition, exercise, and rest the body will begin to heal from the inside out without the use of pharmaceutical drugs
Veronica , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Twenty-five years ago I began my career as a Massage Therapist and a Holistic Health Practitioner. In my practice, I offer various types of massage therapy techniques. Each session is customized depending on the need of my client. What set me apart from others is the passion I have in not only wanting to make my client feel good but helping their bodies heal from the inside out. At Inspire Nutrition we off Herbalife products which are meal replacement protein shakes, healthy flavorful energy drinks without the side effects of stimulants, pre & post-workout drinks along with a line of products specifically created for athletes, supplements, and a skincare line. We educate and help our customers throughout their health journey. We offer customized meal and exercise plans based on each individual need and restriction. I’m most proud that I have been in my career for over twenty-five years and the passion I have to help others continues to grow. I thank God daily because without him I would not be where I am today. One thing that brings me the greatest joy is seeing the transformation in each person I work with and hearing their testimony. Testimonies not only of their health journey but of the transformation they have had spiritually.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
I believe the most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been honesty and the personal connection we make with each client/customer. We always speak the truth and we are transparent at all times. If I am unable to help my client reach their health goal I am honest with them from the beginning. I always give my word that I will do my very best in everything I do, reminding them that the true healer is God and I am just a vessel.
We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
Starting a business is difficult mentally, physically, and financially. Building your audience on social media is a different world, especially if you are not familiar with the ins and outs of social media. I speak from experience. Once I opened my business I realized I needed to expose my business through social media. I felt as if referrals and word of mouth just weren’t enough. I needed more exposure. I opened my Facebook business page. I asked each client & customer to LIKE, FOLLOW, and SHARE my page. I even asked if they would create a post of their experience and share it on both their personal page and my business page. This was the most humbling and difficult thing for me to do. I noticed my efforts quickly paid off. Not only did my Inspire Nutrition business grow but my massage business, Shalom Beauty & Wellness began to grow as well. I then created an Instagram account and asked the same. Social media can be time-consuming but definitely worth it.
