We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Veronica Mercado a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Veronica, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

What I think it takes to be successful is to never give up on your goals and dreams. Consistency is key.

Veronica, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

I got into the real estate industry because I wanted a better life for my family. I love seeing the faces of my clients when they achieve their goals, and knowing that I played a big role of that process to make that happened it’s very rewarding for me. The services that my company provides is help with buying and selling a house. We also help clients who might want to purchase a home for Airbnb, that is very popular right now. The problems that I solve for my clients are getting their home sold for top dollar, without having to worried about all the paperwork involved in the transaction and finding a qualified buyer to purchase their home. In the buying side the problems that I solve for my clients is finding a home that meets their needs and negotiating the price to help them save money. What sets me apart from others is that I am passionate about what I do, and I’m also bilingual, I speak English and Spanish. I have all the vendors that you will need to close a real estate transaction. What I am most proud of is when my clients are happy with their goals. If you or anyone you know want to buy or sell their home I would love to help them in every step of the process.

Where do you think you get most of your clients from?

The best source for new clients for me has been social media.

Can you open up about how you funded your business?

I put together the initial capital for my business with my other business that is Mav Transportation LLC, and with the help of my husband that has always supported me. It has been tough but I’m getting where I want to be. I have a great team behind of me to get the best deals for my clients.
