We recently connected with Veni N and have shared our conversation below.
Veni, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What was the most important lesson/experience you had in a job that has helped you in your professional career?
The most important lesson I learned in my career was to stand up and take control of a situation when expectations are pouring in from all directions. In one of my early roles, multiple people were pushing their priorities onto me at the same time, which naturally leads to confusion and the risk of mistakes. That experience taught me the importance of pausing, assessing what truly matters, clarifying priorities, and then implementing a structured plan.
It helped me understand that leadership starts with creating order in chaos and taking ownership to move things forward with clarity

Veni, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Do you have any insights you can share related to maintaining high team morale?
To manage a team and keep morale high, reach out to them regularly, understand their interests, help them upskill, and guide them align towards the company’s goals. When people feel supported, valued, and see a path to grow along with the company, they stay motivated and give their best.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
Early in my career, in the learning stage it will be this assumption that we have to follow what is told and realized it would not all the time drive towards results. Over time, I had to unlearn this approach and realized the importance of assessing each situation, prioritizing effectively, and taking ownership of how to move things forward. This shift helped me work smarter, make better decisions, and deliver more meaningful results.
