Vanessa , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
During the beginning of Covid, like many people, I lost my job and had some extra time to start a travel blog- something I always wanted to do. I wanted to share my experiences with traveling, and inspire those who want to see more of the world, to get out there and travel! I wanted to focus on eco-friendly traveling tips, and help people realize that traveling is easy, and everyone should travel.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I provide travel services like packages, budgeting plans, and other guidance for Cruises, and land based vacations. My goal is to make it as simple as possible to help people plan their vacations and make amazing memories. Traveling has always been a huge part of my life and it molded me into the woman I am today. I believe everyone deserves to travel and learn more about different cultures to help expand their mind.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I try to post relevant travel content that is informative, and funny so that it is relatable to my following. I send out messages to other travel accounts that fit my niche to introduce myself and made some new friends through that. I’ve also participated in a lot of giveaways and collaborations, which i’m so grateful for. I would suggest to keep active in your account posting and find other accounts to relate to your mission.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I make sure to follow up after they return from their trip and see how it all went. I ask for their feedback if there was anything else I missed that they could’ve used help or guidance in during the process of planning their vacation. It’s always good to follow up with my clients so they don’t just think I wanted to book them and forget about them.
