Hi Vanessa, thanks for joining us today. Crazy stuff happening is almost as certain as death and taxes – it’s technically “unexpected” but something unexpected happening is to be expected and so can you share a crazy story with our readers

One of the wildest moments at NostimoTX.com was when a viral TikTok foodie unexpectedly featured our Greek FruitSpoonSweets. Within hours, our website crashed from traffic, online orders tripled. It was exhilarating and chaotic. We scrambled to restock and worked 16-hour days just to keep up with the orders. I was overwhelmed but deeply proud. That moment reminded me why we started this: to share the Greek culinary heritage that could move people.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I’m a proud Greek, based in Dallas TX and founder of NostimoTX.com, where we bring authentic Greek flavors from the mainland and the Greek islands all over the world. Inspired by my ‘yiayia’s’ kitchen, I launched our line of traditional Greek fruit spoon sweets, preserved fresh fruits served with a spoon as a symbol of hospitality. We offer 8 all-natural and 8 no-sugar-added flavors, using family recipes and real, seasonal fruit. At Nostimo Texas, we honor the Greek heritage while embracing health-conscious options. What sets us apart is authenticity, no shortcuts, just real Greek flavors with heart. I’m most proud of sharing my culture through food that connects people to memories and tradition.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Building our audience on social media started with one simple idea: share the heart behind the Greek Fruit Spoon Sweets. I posted behind-the-scenes moments and the cultural roots of my Greek recipes. People connected with that authenticity. I didn’t chase trends. I focused on storytelling and engaging with followers like friends.
My advice? Be real. Show the process, the people, and the passion behind your brand. Don’t aim to impress but instread, aim to connect.

Our reputation is rooted in authenticity and an unwavering commitment to quality. Our Greek spoon sweets are crafted using real fruit sourced directly from the Greek mainland and islands, allowing customers to truly taste the difference and connect with the story behind every jar. We’re also incredibly proud of our unique, artistic packaging. Designed by world-renowned Polish artist Mary Noga (@mary.n\_art), who lives in Dubai, each label reflects both traditional Greek motifs and modern elegance. Mary is celebrated for her vibrant, emotionally rich portraits of women, bold, expressive, and full of character. Collaborating with her brought a powerful, feminine energy to our brand that we’re honored to share.
