Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Valesha Provenza. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Valesha , appreciate you joining us today. Can you share a story with us from back when you were an intern or apprentice? Maybe it’s a story that illustrates an important lesson you learned or maybe it’s a just a story that makes you laugh (or cry)?

Concurrently working at an experiential marketing firm provided me the insight to move forward with product development trade shows & farmers markets. Knowing the basic necessities and having a close friend with farmers market experience expedited the process. Our Founder, Koda is a cancer survivor so we have that as our motivation as well ! She has served as our Founder as well as Research & Development and Public Relations too . We owe our existence to Koda, a matriarch, mastiff/boxer mix we adopted when she was 2 years old. January of 2017 we became a family. We celebrated our 8 year anniversary this past January. We commute alot from
Pahrump to OC to Central Coast for work, we also live in multi unit housing in socal . This is what precipitated the concept of having a convertible Key Lanyard/Dog Leash. The product is meant to be used as a key lanyard and when necessary transformed into a dog leash. It is meant to ease anxiety and be a subtle yet unique addition to one’s pet accessories.

Valesha , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

For all pet owners we are a sure solution to keeping an extra leash around without having to consciously remember a dog leash. Our product is intended for use primarily as a key lanyard for your house and car keys in a matter of seconds it can be transformed into a dog leash. We exist to ensure you always have a leash on you . Our leash is approx 37 inches long when extended and 28 inches long configured as lanyard. The ease of having your keys around your neck when walking from car to apartment is the best without having to look in purse or pockets it also is located right at same level all doorknobs are. This product is for everyone. We aim to provide pet parents with a solution when in panic . We are your answer to a more prepared situation be it emergency in any event . We promise and believe whe heartedly this product in needed in every pet parents home ! Children are thrilled with our designs & purpose and we must say this is a great way to empower your child to be more responsible & proactive taking your pet for a walk , we are an awesome gift for all ages !!! We choose patterns, snap hooks, & D rings that all have a fashion statement and visibility to them which aids and assists in locating car keys, dog leash, & belongings in general.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?

Blood donations have extended my life and I would like to acknowledge anyone who goes out of their way to donate blood. Also would like to advocate for affordable accessible effective healthcare for all women & children. i say this with conviction from experience we could do better as a country in that department. I love my dog Koda so immensely for helping me through all of the surgeries I owe it to her to be as resilient as she has been for me. We live on the second floor and would love a yard so we are giving it a shot in selling our convertible key lanyard/dog leashes.
