Hi Valerya, thanks for joining us today. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.

Since childhood I’ve dreamt of being a designer, dabbling in jewelry making and enjoying every minute of it. I was dreaming of colorful beads and a little boutique shop with my handmade jewelry… 🧚‍♀️
I made jewelry all the time. Every free minute when not at school, I even sold the jewelry I was making while being at school at age of 12.

I was closing my eyes and seeing different jewelry designs, different styles and color combinations… I was dreaming of everyone wearing my creations… I saw colors everywhere and was inspired from everything around me…
Always adoring colors and gemstones, I believed I’ll open an exclusive jewelry boutique shop one day.

Approaching adulthood, being of practical nature, I had to make a difficult choice of putting my passion aside. I decided to learn Accounting in one of the best Universities in the country. It felt more secure, more safe choosing this pass.
6 years later I became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), working in one of the top accounting firms in the country. I chose safety and didn’t follow my dream and my passion 💔

All the while my love for jewelry kept calling me until one day, a few years later, my destiny caught up with me…
The moment that changed the course of my future was receiving a truly magical Sapphire gemstone necklace from my husband. The moment I touched that necklace, I felt an amazing surge of energy and it reminded me what incredible strength jewelry holds inside.

That moment I made a very risky and destiny-changing decision. I gathered enough bravery to leave my successful career, follow my heart and fulfill my dream!
That moment I knew that I’ll start building my dream and that my mission is to bring happiness into this world through my jewelry designs. I never looked back since then and feel blessed that I listened to my heart.
I thought of a name for my brand and it felt so right to call it – Valltasy. Which means Vall’s fantasy – a dream that came true by a hard work, lots of dedication, courage and passion.
Since then Valltasy brand grew and became what it is now – a community that uplifts and inspires women everyday all over the world. My jewelry is made to make your day more colorful, happier and to encourage you to believe in yourself by wearing pieces that add sparkle to your day.

Valltasy is a one woman business that was created by me, Valerya, as a dream and desire to create elevated colorful fine gemstone jewelry that brings you happiness and will give you the strength to follow your dreams.

My jewelry isn’t just about dazzling your eyes with beautiful gemstones, but also about uplifting your soul with a spectrum of colors.

It’s scientific – colors have the power to influence our mood and emotions. A pop of color can make us feel happier, more alive. And that’s exactly what I do!

At Valltasy, I speak with the language of COLORS. Gemstones have the amazing ability of giving energy when their colors are combined together in a balanced way.

When reflecting on my journey, a particular moment stands out as a testament to my resilience and determination. It was a defining moment when despite the naysayers and the uncertainty looming ahead, I found the courage within me to take that leap of faith. It was a defining moment that changed the course of my life forever.

I stepped away from my career and trusted my intuition and my heart to pursue my passion for jewelry design. It was a leap of faith, a decision born out of a deep desire to create something meaningful and uplifting for others.

In the early days of my journey as a jewelry designer, I faced a wave of skepticism and doubt from those around me. Starting Valltasy as a one-woman business from scratch seemed like a far-fetched dream to many. People questioned my decision to leave behind a successful career for something as uncertain as creating jewelry.

Looking back, I realize that every challenge I faced in the early stages of my career was a stepping stone towards growth and resilience. These hurdles shaped me into the designer and entrepreneur I am today, guiding me to create jewelry that not only sparkles with beauty but also carries the essence of empowerment and positivity.

Through Valltasy, I celebrate the resilience and spirit of women. It is a privilege to be able to share my journey and my creations with the world, and I am grateful every day that I trusted my heart and took that first bold step toward realizing my dream.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

Maintaining an active presence on Instagram and other media platforms nowadays is crucial for any jewelry designer. With so much content out there, it is difficult to break through and reach your target audience. I can proudly say that after many years of producing quality content and connecting with my community, I impact on a daily basis the lives of over 95,000 followers. But it’s not as easy as it sounds. I started my Instagram account in 2018 without any knowledge of what I should do there. I was posting from time to time when I felt like it, and of course it didn’t work. Because one of the things I learned through the years: you need to be intentional in anything you do. So posting randomly didn’t work and one day I told myself: I’ll commit to post daily! Every day at the same hour. That was the moment that things started to change. From 2,000 followers, my account started to grow and every day I saw new people commenting, asking questions, and joining my community. It was an amazing feeling! Like I meet every person that clicks on “follow” and get closer to them! How empowering is the thought of being able to show your art to new people all over the world?! So of course it made me want to share more and post more and through the years Instagram became my second home, my “happy place,” and my family. I keep posting daily even when I’m very busy or feel less like that.
I also learned that if you don’t post for a few days, it’s harder to come back. And the bigger the breaks you make, the harder it is to return. Same with any social media platform – pick a few and be present. Commit to posting every day, commit to share your art, your process, and feel like you talk to your friends. Because these ARE your friends: those are people who chose YOU to follow and see every time they open the app. It’s huge and very inspiring!
