Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Valentino Juma. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Valentino, appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
If it was not for risk taking, I wouldn’t have started my small business in the first place.
Valentino, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
I’m Valentino Juma, a small business owner, founder and CEO of Fiziland Market & Fiziland Brand. located in Nashville TN, straight from a small village called Fizi a territory in the south of Sud-Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. I got into owning a small business. by providing affordable clothing line, within my community, with idea of making sure, everyone is looking good too expensive for less. also, by coming up with a product and solution to a fatigue skin, we produced “La belle Body Cream” by Fiziland Brand.
Fiziland market is problems solution for our clients, our lowest prices and quality of our products are one of the best things to ever happen in our community, we solve our customers issues by meeting their needs. I am so proud to be one of the best influencers to the youth. what sets me apart from others is that I am a risk taker, hardworking young man and I do anything to achieve my goals.
Do you have any stories of times when you almost missed payroll or any other near death experiences for your business?
“If you don’t fail, you’re not even trying” Danzel Washington. almost everything as a downfall. in June-August of 2022 it was a near death moments for my business, after losing 4 packages of my products from my venders. if it was not for my beautiful wife, I would’ve sold my business, she was on my side and believed in me and my ideas. I believe all stressful and difficult moments can only make you become stronger. I learned a lot of new things when I was going through the stressful times.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I learned to always be ready for, both stressful and happy moments. the rise up and downfall they’re all part of our lives.
