Urooj, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?

My love for events , seeing family and friends happy and passion for Makeup and Hairstyling led me in this field. I don’t remember exactly when it happened but yes been a while now that I decided to be in artistry field professionally. It’s just I enjoy my time making my beautiful clients look more beautiful as beautiful they are from heart.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

For folks who don’t know me, back home I was a Nurse but then somewhere in my mind the feeling was there that I need to do something else, this is not for me. When I came USA I told myself since I am starting everything from beginning why not to do something professionally which I love already. So now I provide Makeup and Hairstyling services for all types of big or small events.
I work with different types of people coming from different cultures. I have experience working with different skin tones, skin problems and hairstyles and hair problems as well. Alhumdulillah all of my beautiful clients are happy 😊.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

In my view, society can support artists by valuing their time, skills, knowledge. attitude and experience. In my field we say trust the process.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

For me when my clients sees themselves in mirror and then the joy on their face is rewarding, when they send me their pictures from events, when the writer a good review before I request them to do so, means a lot to me.
