We were lucky to catch up with Uriel Maksumov Aka: Healer recently and have shared our conversation below.

Uriel, appreciate you joining us today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?

Growing up, I was always fascinated by energy, spirituality, and healing. My grandmother would share stories about the miracles my great-grandfather performed, which deeply resonated with me. From as young as eight, I felt there was more to life and the universe than what we could see and feel. I believed in a way to unite the world, bring love, heal, and create a better place for humanity. I listened intently to seminars, podcasts, read books and was very interested in world events, seeking to understand why certain things happen, why tragedies occur, and how God controls the world.

My love for animals—cats, dogs, birds, fish—taught me to love and give even more. At 16, my older brother, who was 20 at the time, got sick with a rare cancer that changed our lives forever. His years in and out of treatment and his meditative healing practices led us to feel, see, and sense energy, making us realize our greater purpose on earth. After his four-year struggle, my brother passed away, and I spent the next 15 years studying different healing methods.

A transformative experience at age 20 reinforced my purpose. I instinctively placed my hand on a friend’s back who had chronic pain from an old injury. I fell into a deep sleep, and when I woke, my back was in pain, but hers was permanently healed. This moment solidified my connection to the angelic realm and my ability to heal others.

I transitioned from healing family and friends privately to helping people online. A mentor, who we hired to help my brother, taught me a lot about managing my gifts, for which I remain grateful. Initially, I feared being overwhelmed by the unknown, and for over nine years, I didn’t post a single picture or video of myself. Despite this, many people trusted me, and I received hundreds of positive reviews for energy healing, cleansing, and life coaching.

In 2022, I decided to join the social media world, posting my first picture followed by videos with tips and advice. Within the first year, my Instagram account @energyluck_ grew to over 20,000 followers. As part of my healing practice, I often asked clients to meditate, which was challenging to explain, so in 2024, I launched guided meditations on YouTube on the channel @energyluck. In just a few months, we surpassed 100,000 subscribers worldwide. The meditations have been enormously successful, receiving positive feedback and numerous requests for more content.

I will continue working hard to bring light, love, and spread positive energy, helping to change lives throughout the world.

Hello! My name is Uriel, and I am the founder of EnergyLuck. I was born in Tajikistan and grew up in Queens, NY. From a young age, I was always fascinated by energy, spirituality, and healing. My journey began with the inspiring stories my grandmother shared about the miracles my great-grandfather performed. I am a proud father of four wonderful children—three girls and one boy—who continue to inspire me every day. Can you tell us about a time you’ve had to pivot?

After my brother’s passing, I inherited his auto parts distribution business. This was a significant turning point in my life, as I had to step into a role that was completely different from my interests in energy and spirituality. I ran the business for many years, during which it grew to over 50 employees and operated out of a 20,000 square foot warehouse. This experience taught me invaluable lessons in managing people, respecting employees, hiring and firing, and creating growth and opportunities through a positive environment.

Running the business successfully required a lot of dedication and hard work. I learned how to lead a team, make strategic decisions, and ensure that the business thrived. However, despite the success and growth, I always felt a pull towards energy healing and helping others in a more personal and transformative way.

The pivotal moment came when I realized that my true calling was in energy healing. The experiences and skills I gained from running the auto parts distribution business were invaluable, but my passion for healing and coaching others was undeniable. It was a difficult decision, but I eventually decided to sell the business to focus on energy healing full-time.

Transitioning from a traditional business environment to a healing and coaching practice was a significant shift. The business skills I had acquired helped me build and grow EnergyLuck. I was able to apply my experience in managing operations, leading teams, and creating a positive and supportive environment to my new venture.

I am incredibly happy that I took the steps to enter energy healing and coaching full-time. This pivot allowed me to use not only my healing abilities but also my business acumen to help others build their lives. It taught me that sometimes, life’s challenges and changes are opportunities for growth and realignment with our true purpose.

This experience reinforced my belief in the power of positive energy and the importance of following one’s passion. By combining my experience in business and healing, I am now able to support my clients in a holistic way, helping them achieve both personal and professional success.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Building my audience on social media has been an incredible journey, filled with learning and growth. When I decided to bring EnergyLuck online, I knew that social media would be a powerful tool to reach and help more people. However, I also had initial fears and hesitations about putting myself out there.

I started by sharing valuable content related to energy healing, spirituality, and personal growth. My goal was to provide genuine, helpful information that could positively impact people’s lives. Consistency was key—I made sure to post regularly and engage with my audience by responding to comments and messages.

One of the significant milestones was in 2022 when I posted my first picture on Facebook and video on Instagram. This was a big step for me, as I had spent over nine years without posting any personal photos or videos. The positive response from my followers was overwhelming and encouraged me to continue sharing more about myself and my work.

I began creating videos with tips, advice, and guided meditations. These videos allowed me to connect with my audience on a deeper level. By showing my face and sharing my voice, I was able to build trust and authenticity. Within the first year, my Instagram account @energyluck grew to over 20,000 followers.

In 2024, I launched my YouTube channel for guided meditations. This platform quickly gained popularity, surpassing 100,000 subscribers in just a few months. The positive feedback and requests for more content confirmed that there was a strong need for these meditations.

Here are some key strategies that helped me build my social media presence:

Consistency: Posting regularly and maintaining a consistent theme helped build a reliable presence. People knew what to expect and when to expect it.

Authenticity: Being genuine and transparent about my journey, experiences, and the services I offer helped build trust with my audience.

Engagement: Interacting with followers through comments, messages, and live sessions made them feel valued and connected to me.

Quality Content: Providing valuable, informative, and inspiring content kept my audience engaged and eager for more.

Adaptability: Staying open to feedback and willing to adapt my content based on what resonated most with my audience was crucial.

For those just starting to build their social media presence, my advice is to stay authentic and consistent. Focus on providing value to your audience and engage with them genuinely. Don’t be afraid to share your story and let your personality shine through. Building a social media presence takes time and effort, but with dedication and a clear purpose, it can lead to meaningful connections and growth.
