We recently connected with Uri Redler and have shared our conversation below.
Uri, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
The most significant risk I took was moving my life entirely to a different country. When I decided to invest and study in Miami, I didn’t grasp the magnitude of my decision, and I just went for it. I usually say that Im not a fan of getting out of my comfort zone, but I find myself out of that zone many times.
Moving into a different place with a foreign language and culture, away from my family and friends, was a complex challenge that I still face daily. But I am so happy and grateful I did it; it certainly paid off in all aspects. I gained so much life experience, maturity, friendship, and goals.
Get out of your comfort zone. Every day.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I started practicing real estate about 11 years ago, actively purchasing, renovating, and selling properties in Miami & Broward. From there, I evolved into developments, building and selling over 30 townhouses and multi-families in Fort Lauderdale.
Sales always appealed to me. I am known to be trustworthy, professional and treat people with respect.
I wanted to use the knowledge I acquired during my work with developments and take it to the next level. I then decided to get my broker license and open a real estate office alone side my two friends and partners, Yaacov and Shlomo Poston.
We named the company ‘The Real Estate Lab” as we combine different elements of the real estate spectrum using high-tech software and CRM.
Starting with several agents at a small co-working space in Wynwood, we now have over 25 active agents, our own boutique office in Miami Innovation District, and millions of dollars in dollars in sales and commissions. All within a term of eight months.
We love what we do, going to the office and sharing different ideas and views. Support our agents is in the highest regard. We are always at their disposal if they need us to help them write a contract, go to a listing appointment, or just a piece of friendly advice.
We welcome newcomers and top producers, and our doors and eyes are always open for collaborations.
How do you keep your team’s morale high?
The best advice to maintain high morale is to pay attention to the needs of your clients/agents. It is always a good idea to offer some incentives. We do different types of competitions within our firm with different prices. The last competition we held was for a $500 gift card, which was a lot of fun and engaged all our agents.
As far as the clients go, it is about staying in the loop and keeping that relationship going. Some need more attention than others, and some want to be taken for dinner/lunch, which we gladly offer.

Can you tell us the story behind how you met your business partner?
Shlomo and Yaacov Poston are both close friends of mine for many years. They have been crushing the market, each with its field of expertise (commercial, residential). When I decided to focus more on sales, I teamed up with them to open a sales team that handles luxury sales.
When we saw the growth in dollar volume and size, we felt the natural move would be to open our own shop. And so we did. It works well as each one of us has its own line of expertise that allows both our clients and agents to enjoy a vast pool of knowledge that is at their disposal at all times.
