Ulisha, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?

My legacy….. Hmmm, well that’s a very great question. I pray and hope my legacy is that anyone who has encountered me in any form knows that God is very much real and to always lead with love. In the time we are in now it’s very imperative that you stay positive and seek the best in life. It is okay to help the next person be successful in any form of their life. Teach the next generation things that they will be able to pass down their lineage. No matter the trials, tribulations, successes and good times we must decide within ourselves to choose love. Each and every day. It’s a self choice. I have been through a ton in my life and no matter what, I picked myself up and kept going. I kept pushing and striving for better. I knew that despite what was infront of me at that time, it wouldn’t last and I would not be in that space in life anymore. Life is very much not easy but it’s worth every experience and lesson. So whatever you want to do whether it’s travel the world, become a business owner, feed families, become an artist or create flying cars DO It!!! My legacy will be me obeying my purpose and living my life as an example.

Hello everyone! Hola Kings and Queens. My name is Ulisha and I am the owner of Uslay Unique LLC. I also am a co-host of Empower Talk and a model as well. With my business I have been running it during the pandemic and still pushing through. I sale premium Virgin Brazilian Hair, 3D Mink Lash Strips & Raw Indian Hair. It is the best there is and that I have tried so far.! (&No I’m not just saying that ..Lol it really is just ask my clients.) I have recently curated a natural hair growth oil that so will be introducing to you all soon. Stay tuned for the updates.

Being an entrepreneur while working full time is a task in its own but it’s manageable. I applaud each and every person you are doing a great job.
The Empower Talk show that I am apart of is a podcast/panel talk. Our main focus and goal is mental health but we discuss everything there is to talk about and inform you all of. I love my crew and we are like a little family of our own!.

Doing all of this takes a lot of patience, organization, determination and dedication. Staying focused During the process does help with eating and keeping your business flowing the right way. You have to surround yourself with successful people as well as things that will keep you on your toes So that it will challenge you to continue to be successful and strive for better.

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

My product speaks for itself and also word-of-mouth. What helps in the market is great promotion, exceptional quality as well as word-of-mouth. Now social media is ruling things as well as word-of-mouth. If you have a great product it will speak for itself so when anyone shares it or tell someone about it it’s a trusted product.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

There has been a couple of effective strategies. For promoting my product, the most effective strategy has been me wearing it and also speaking to other people about it. There is so many different businesses that are all technically the same but each person has a different quality of product. When I wear my hair and I color it or wear my lashes out of course if you look good it’ll show and people ask questions. So I choose that time to share and then I’ll have a business card or information about my social media page on my website up to share.
