We recently connected with Tyshon Tufi and have shared our conversation below.
Tyshon, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What were some of the most unexpected problems you’ve faced in your career and how did you resolve those issues?
Heartbreak. Losing that somebody you thought would be your forever. The amount of struggles I’ve faced having to try to heal has been a challenge and depressing. My creative process is different now because of it to, theirs not structure to how I want things to be done I can simply just wake up and start crying to motivate me to channel that pain into a recording. I read the other day that ” Everything you need to know about the way they loved you is in the way they left you.” I personally don’t think that the loyalty I was exhibiting for so long was reciprocated with my ex. It wasn’t about blowing guys off for me, or keeping me in the loop of when your dms are popping… When I moved out of Orlando the main thing I needed and our relationship needed was the type of loyalty and understanding that i’m a man trying to reach my goals for the embitterment of myself first but for us too. I don’t wanna expose too much just yet but the moral of this story right now is that i’m confused and broken. When I write thats all I feel. I haven’t found a solution yet but speaking to someone you trust about how you truly feel will open your mind and heart up. I spoke to my brother Pat not too long ago and he was playing the role of my therapist little did he know. At a certain point I had to stop and let some tears out because there were so many questions being asked and questions I couldn’t answer. Brotherhood, especially in the black community we need that for real.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
My name is Tyshon Tufi and Im a 24 year aware black man, I’m spiritual in the sense that I know my higher power, I’m a loverboy, I love anime, and I love music. I got into recording music because I was inspired by artists such as ; J.cole, Capital steez (R.I.P) , Lil Wayne, Drake, and Kanye. Im a poet at core then naturally rapping came along with that. I was amazed at how people can make you feel a certain with their words. Being a wordsmith myself I gravitated towards that career as a artist because I saw the luxury and doing something you love and being Able to spread awareness with your music. I want to be a father/leader at a certain point in life and with being a leader you have responsibilities you have to carry, Its the same thing with music. I want to be a figure that haves fun but in the same life is a role model for generations to come and I think the most powerful way to do it is through the music industry and film. Im at a stage right now where things are still experimental but I still want people to take me seriously. My music is on major platforms such as Apple and Spotify just search my name up “Tyshon Tufi. I like writing about love because theirs so many routes you can take. Theirs a duality to love, there’s the dark and light. We all go through pain and often it comes from the people that say they love us.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
Wealth is my ultimate goal with my career. I chose this route because it can help lead me to that and also open up other doors for me the higher I get.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
To have someone listen or watch my art and change their life forever positively
