We were lucky to catch up with Tyrone Betters recently and have shared our conversation below.

Alright, Tyrone thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?

I was a freshman on the campus of Georgia Southern University #HailSouthern. I auditioned for a fashion show by the name of Blaqshion, made the final cut and my life was changed forever. I knew that modeling would be my life from that moment forward. I have since then transitioned into acting and I just been loving every minute of it over these last years.

Tyrone, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen, my name is Tyrone Betters. I am born & bred from Dallas, TX and I love being an actor & model.

I started off centrally focused on modeling but roughly 4 years after I started, I transitioned into acting which was the best decision I ever made.

Going to classes & workshops, working on student films, doing commercials all prepared me to continue to go to the next level. My ultimate goal is to become a household name in the industry & evolve even more behind the lens.

My brand style is show & prove. I enjoy posting my work & sharing my success with the people that are with me.

These last few years are the most consistent I have been in my career & I am excited for everyone to continue to see what we have building.

Are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?

Understanding the power & dynamic of being a Producers Assistant (PA) on set of these filming projects early.

In my early years I absolutely wish I knew how it worked to be able to help on set and just be a worker as well as build relationships.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

My mission is to achieve everything God promised me I can have. Movies, Primetime TV, Commercials, you name it.

I have a clear cut vision to the things I know I can obtain. And in my success be a platform for others to grow and achieve their desires as well.
