We recently connected with Tyrelle H.C and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Tyrelle thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
When it comes down to it. I’m a self published author and what made me took that route was that I got denied by 100 different publishers. So I created my business ManManpublishing in 2021 , and told my self that I will give people the voice I didn’t have and guide them during this wild ride of being author .

Tyrelle, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
Tyrelle H.C. is an African American triple threat with him being an author, business owner, and digital designer at the age of eighteen . For my book Color Vision and my publishing company ManMan Publishing which started on April 26, 2021. I began my writing journey when I was 14. Then when I tried to get my first book published the traditional way. I got denied by 100 different publishers. So I went the self publishing route. Then on April 26, 2021, I came out with my self published book called Color Vision. That talks about emotions and the pieces of my life. For example, my bond with my father and how beautiful my melanin skin is. I made it so in tune with emotions, so that I can bring more awareness to mental health. Now author I release my second book Where the Moonfalls. Where it’s a little darker than Color Vision but it’s a book that dive deeper into my insecurities and fears. With an interesting story line that leads you all the way to sunrise.
I go schools , different events , and even go to open mics to tell my story to get people inspired to be more and never to give up on theirs dreams . I feel like that’s the most important thing because your dreams is the basic building block of creativity.
Then with me I’m doing both so im author and business owner. So I guide people on this weird journey of being author. While also growing with them.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
When it comes to social media. I let people know two sides of me the me in front of cameras and then me behind the cameras because I believe that people should be able to see the whole you.
Then for people who growing their audience. Hashtags , tell a friend to share your post, and then supports others.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I think what build my reputation was that I was young doing it and I was doing it all by myself. Still trying to figure out things and really growing as person. Learning lessons and really also showing people something different because it wasn’t a lot of African American students and youth. That do what I do
