We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tyrell Furtado. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tyrell below.
Alright, Tyrell thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
My mom did everything right! From the home cooked meals to raising me on her own to be the adult I am today. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t be the Chef I am today. I always loved watching he cook in the kitchen and experiment with ingredients, it was always so fascinating to me.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hello! My name is Ty and for those who don’t know, I am a personal chef! I’m originally from Rhode Island and relocated to San Diego about a year ago. What got me into my profession was mainly my passion for food and just overall growing up around homemade meals that always intrigued me. So as a personal chef I offer private dining wether it’s a get together, birthday party, or an intimate anniversary dinner for a lovely couple. I also provide premade menus for anyone that’s indecisive on what they’d like as well as love to create menus specifically for a client to meet their needs for their night. What makes me different from my competitors is my attention to detail and ability to focus mainly on the goal of giving each client a wonderful experience. Being able to create unique dishes and flavors is something I’ll forever be proud of. Being able to give someone something you won’t find somewhere else is a feeling that can’t be replaced so if you book with me, it’ll be an experience you won’t forget!
Where do you think you get most of your clients from?
So what has worked for me tremendously has been using an online service to showcase my expertise called TakeAChef. On there I’ve been able to reach potential clients and network with them at a faster rate.
Any thoughts, advice, or strategies you can share for fostering brand loyalty?
I try to keep multiple options of contact wether it’s email, text, call, or social media.
