We were lucky to catch up with Tynesha Evans recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Tynesha, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with the story of your mission. What should we know?
My mission has always been to aid in the expansion of other businesses. I adore being able to use my creative abilities to establish a brand. When it comes to the appearance and feel of a business, I’ve come to understand that I’m more than simply a graphic designer; I’m actually paving the road for others to succeed. I enjoy assisting others because there was no manual or mentor to lead me into entrepreneurship when I first started my business. I’m appreciative that I’m able to keep ahead of the curve since I continually research the newest trends in my industry.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I had no idea what I wanted to do when I initially started doing graphic design while I was a high school student. It was initially more of a hobby that I liked to do on the weekends. I didn’t plan on it turning into a hobby, but when I joined the yearbook club, I was pleasantly pleased by my capacity for creativity. I took the decision to move to Florida from the US Virgin Islands so that I could develop my talent and earn my bachelor’s degree, which I did with pride. I made the decision to launch BN Grafiks, my graphic design company, in 2015 so I could also help other aspiring business owners.
Since I work as a graphic designer during the day and at night, the path was not always simple. I had to realize that I needed to strike a balance between my side business and my day job. I have to find other outlets for my creativity in order to accomplish that and avoid being burned out. My main objective has always been to assist people in creating their brands and promoting themselves to their target markets. I always went above and beyond for my clients so that after I finished their project, they could tell their friends about their positive experience, which helped me attract additional customers. On integrity and a sincere desire to aid in the expansion of other businesses, BN Grafiks was founded.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
My reputation as a graphic designer has definitely grown thanks to networking and word of mouth.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social networking has been one of my best sources. I let my work do the talking.
