We recently connected with Tyler Prince and have shared our conversation below.

Tyler , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Can you talk to us about how you’ve thought about whether to sign with an agent or manager?

A goal that I had for 2023 was to finally get agent representation. I make no secret that acting and performing is my only dream in this world and I am prepared to do what it takes to make that happen. I have been trying for a while to find an agent but have heard multiple “nos”. I will never accept “no”. Each no added fuel to my fire. I am resilient and will keep fighting no matter who believes in me! I am so unbelievably proud to that I have just signed a contract with Avant Agency! Words can’t express how this feels. I am one step closer towards seeing my dreams realized.

Tyler , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I have been in love with performing since I was a child. I was always in awe anytime I saw another kid on tv or in a movie. I knew early on that was my path as well. I was always re-enacting a music video or movie scene for anyone within ear reach. I do a little of everything; acting, singing, dancing, and writing. I’ve done some small commercials, background work, and web projects. Other than that, I make a lot of social media content, which is always a blast. I love getting to connect with people all across the world. I’m hoping to go viral soon! Nothing has ever felt as good as when I’m performing and completely letting go. My long-term goal is to follow in the footsteps of some of my idols, like Whoopi Goldberg and Viola Davis, by becoming an EGOT. Get ready to see a lot of me in the future!

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?

For me, the best part of entertaining is bringing people together. Even if its just for a moment. Movies, music, TV and what ever is trending on social media has the ability to stop us in our tracks. Be it to make us laugh, make us cry or even make to us think. The arts has this magnificent power to make us equals for entertainment. I love the idea of being a part of something like that.

How did you build your audience on social media?

I’ll admit that I’m not the best at social media. In fact I’m convinced that the algorithm gods hate me. However, as lame as it sounds, just one post at a time. I post 2-3 times a day, 5 days a week. Slowly but surely I’ve seen my following has grown throughout this year on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram. I love my followers, I appreciate them so much. We are small and underground but growing!
