We recently connected with Tyler Minor and have shared our conversation below.
Tyler, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
Success is measured in various forms. As an artist it’s sometimes important to understand that successes aren’t always measured in a monetary sense. Success in art is more personal than quantifiable. Art is about storytelling, and when you can tell your story or help someone else tell their story through your art you have succeed. So, what does it take to actually be successful?
First, it starts with understanding who you are as an artist. What message and story are you trying to tell with your art? Once you figure this out you’re able to really get a grasp on your creative direction. Next, find out how you can connect with people through your work. Connecting with people is the biggest key success. Building relationships and connections is what helps a business and artist grow. The connection turn into customers, referrals, and sometimes business partners. So, always be kind, humble, and never forget your worth.
