Alright, Tyler thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. When did you first know you wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally?
I first knew i wanted to pursue a creative/artistic path professionally when i found out there were many outlets to get paid from this. I quit my job at Subway and never looked back. I took creating music very seriously and would sometimes sacrifice sleeping or hanging with friends just to be successful and start making the right moves,
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
So My name is Blvxxkk(black) i am an Artist/Producer. I have been involved with music since i was young and always wanted to do something professionally in the music field. I got into this industry by working 20 out of 24 hours a day on my craft, sacrificing a whole summer just to learn everything and expand in my knowledge within producing. I want people to know that i take my craft very seriously and have a great vision for this.
Is there something you think non-creatives will struggle to understand about your journey as a creative? Maybe you can provide some insight – you never know who might benefit from the enlightenment.
I think non-creatives will struggle to understand the hard work and patience you have to have on this journey of making it in this industry. You have to give up a lot of things and have to willing to put everything on the line for success.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
A story i could share that illustrates resilience on my journey of making it into the music industry is after i quit my job at subway to pursue music fully i had some struggles finically due to not making money instantly off of my career choice but shortly i started making beats and would find people who wanted to buy them. After that i would take it a step further and teach myself producing and engineering. I made a lot more money doin that and was glad i overcame the struggles.
