As the CEO of our dynamic real estate team, the Nevada Real Estate Group, LPT Realty and the dedicated founder/president of Nevada Kids Foundation,the non-profit organization close to my heart, my legacy is a tapestry woven with threads of hard work, resilience, and unwavering compassion. I believe in the transformative power of tenacity—embracing failure as a stepping stone to success and demonstrating to my two young children the importance of a strong work ethic coupled with a genuine desire to make a positive impact. My journey is not just about professional achievements but a commitment to creating meaningful change in the lives of underprivileged youth in our community.
Through my relentless dedication, I’ve not only built a thriving real estate business but also established a beacon of hope for those who need it most. The legacy I strive for is one where my children inherit a profound understanding of the value of hard work, the courage to face setbacks, and the importance of having a compassionate heart for those less fortunate. Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Tyler Cornu and I’m a native Northern Nevada mom to two rambunctious toddlers, the CEO of Nevada’s #1 Real Estate Team, the Nevada Real Estate Group, LPT Realty and the President and Founder of the Nevada Kids Foundation. I began my real estate career as a Realtor on the team and quickly moved my way up through Leadership until finally being named CEO in January of 2022. Our team has helped thousands of Nevada families with the largest purchases and sales of their lives and has been named #1 in the state four years running. I founded the Nevada Kids Foundation in mid 2021. Our mission is to provide essential items and resources to our underprivileged youth in our Northern Nevada community. We strive to hit three main goals in our yearly fundraising- sports programs, education goals and our Holiday Donation Drive. Since 2021 we have given back over $300,000 to our local youth and are expecting to impact another 1,000 children with over $200,000 in donations this Christmas season.

Any advice for managing a team?
Team culture is an essential part of our team. We strive to maintain a culture that everyone not only contributes to in a positive way but is proud to be a part of. The real estate market can be stressful and in light of recent market trends our team members can become overwhelmed or stressed with the pressures of real estate. We have weekly in person team meetings where we recognize team members who are hitting their goals, selling homes and signing new clients. We also aim to provide a huge social media presence for our Realtors with monthly awards, posting their pending sales and solds as well as recognizing their leadership within the team. Our team also offers yearly trip incentives with an all inclusive paid team bonding trip to Cabo San Lucas if they hit their production goal.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Leading the #1 team in Nevada has exponentially helped me create a reputation in our community. However beyond that I strive to be a leader someone is not only drawn to but is inspired by. I am passionate about being real and sharing the struggles of motherhood, leading 70 team members, balancing family and work life and I believe that has helped people know I’m truly just a normal human striving for greatness and to leave a legacy behind for my children. I believe empathy and compassion also play a part in my reputation. I truly care about each of my team members and frequently meet for one on one meetings with them to help them achieve their goals in aspirations.
