Hi Tyiesha, thanks for joining us today. What do you think it takes to be successful?
In my humble opinion, it is critical for an individual’s intentions to include God as the main factor before they can emerge and thrive as intended. Consistency, discipline, creativeness, and a detailed execution strategy are additional attributes that I consider to be essential for attaining success. My greatest accomplishment as a self-taught entrepreneur was increasing online sales for one of my companies, Vision Of Beauty Hair & Lash Co., which specializes in selling grade-A quality hair extensions, wigs, and strip lashes. The sales poured in as a result of me applying the actions mentioned earlier. As a result of being involved in a domestic violence incident, I was compelled to temporarily suspend operations of this enterprise, as the rebranding effort must surpass its initial level of success. So with the rebranding, initial stages of my tax firm TW Tax Solutions, and the apparel line Be Intintional (Kingdom Klothing Apparel), I am preparing myself to successfully carry out the actions mentioned above so that I may achieve the success that I envision for myself, my children, my mom, and my community.

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
Social media has been the best source for me acquiring new clients. Snapchat, TikTok (even though I’m not as active as I was), Facebook, and Instagram have been my go-to’s when it comes to gaining new clients. I also promote/advertise my businesses through conversation when out and about, at church, on vacation, pretty much anywhere honestly. LOL
Do you sell on your site, or do you use a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc?
I utilize GoDaddy as the registration link for my tax clients to arrange their appointments with me, while Etsy is the platform through which I operate Be Intintional. GoDaddy is an excellent platform for managing appointments, facilitating payment processing, incorporating features, such as Zoom, for remote workers (like myself), and obtaining AI-powered website development assistance. The only drawback I can think of with GoDaddy is that integrating a customer referral program is not possible. Etsy is my preferred platform for selling products, regardless of whether you’re a sole-prop or an LLC, due to its comparatively straightforward setup process. The only drawback with Etsy in my opinion is that the fees are a little steep.
