We recently connected with Tyasia Collins and have shared our conversation below.

Tyasia, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Any thoughts about whether to ask friends and family to support your business. What’s okay in your view?

Once your friend or family member becomes a business promoter owner you become a promoter. I personally promote and share anybody’s post rather I know you or not that’s how I am , never will I ask anyone for the same thing in return but I’m willing to see how you will perform when it’s my turn. Sometimes I may pay close attention to how I support others and how they support me so when you feel like I’m moving different it’s because I don’t receive the same love I give out . When it comes to support I expect anybody that calls me sister friend or cousin to be in my brand . A lot of people won’t support you until it’s beneficial to them.

Tyasia, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I’m 21 years old , I’ve featured in a couple of magazine articles just to expand my brand and example my story . I’m currently in college for Business and Management to learn the importance of how to run a business the right way. I have a cosmetic line and soon to be clothing line. I’m most proud of the growth I’ve had since I’ve started my business. I don’t like to be like other so I think outside the box. I’m very excited on my clothing line due to the fact that It’ll be like no other

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

My social media audience grew as I posted . Some people may add you due to the fact you completed a goal and some may add you because they love your fashion . I get new audience on a daily that I welcome. I believe in becoming an Influencer by working for it rather than you pay for your audience .

Any advice for managing a team?

My advice for managing a strong team would to be select the right people . Don’t recruit people just because you may know them or just because they are pretty, go for people who are serious with their job and willing to help you expand the brand as a whole. It’s very important to know the difference from people who want job for attention and people who want the job for the correct reasons .
