We were lucky to catch up with Ty Brady recently and have shared our conversation below.
Ty, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Can you talk to us about growing your team – how did you recruit the first few people, what was the process like, how’d you go about training and if you were to start over today would you have done anything differently?
I started recruiting day one in the insurance business. I knew what the business was doing for me and encouraged other people to get in the Industry. When you take somebody who is on state Medicaid fighting for legal custody of his daughter who achieve the American dream of making $20000 in residual income a month when he couldn’t get a job at 7-Eleven because he was overweight and couldn’t stand on his feet.
We’re taking a stay at home mom who had never made more than $1500 in a year to making over $300,000 a year living on the lake in over $1 million home.
Seeing other people achieve the American dream and have a residual income and my financially free is rewarding.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I own a top five field marketing organization in the country that operates in all 50 states that has 3000 direct agents and assist in training over 6 to 8000 agents every year. I assist in helping agents, find people to talk to, as well as helping train them with products and knowledge of the industry so they can be successful.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had a great mentor named Ron Kellogg and when I would have a bad day, I would go into his office and explain what was going on or do a debrief on an appointment that I was just on and he simply said to me, focus on an app a day and you can work yourself out of any problem and eliminate stress.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I’ve been able to build my brand by hard work, determination and being resilient. The number one rule I have is answer your phone get back with a consumer or an agent because if they haven’t issued, they’re looking to get resolved.
