Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Trish Roe. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Trish, appreciate you joining us today. Let’s jump to the end – what do you want to be remembered for?
Interior Design is incredibly intimate, and I am lucky enough to help clients build spaces that serve and support their families long after our work is done. It is so special for me to curate rooms where holiday meals are shared, traditions are created, and memories are made. I hope that every project leaves my clients loving their home just a little bit more.
And even more personally, I hope that my work can teach my two children that you can find success chasing your passion, its ok to make mistakes and learn tough lessons, and that dedication and creativity is something to be celebrated.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your background and context?
I am the founder and designer behind The Georgian Goose Interiors, a residential design firm based in Kirkwood. I grew up with a grandmother whose keen eye for antiques and passion for hosting defined what a loving, family home could look and feel like. When we landed in Atlanta six years ago and found out that we were expecting our first baby, I decided to stop working at jobs that left me uninspired and to finally pursue my true love of interior design that my Gigi had instilled in me. My goal is to create inspirational and comfortable spaces, with timeless style and a curated mix of modern aesthetics and antique treasures. I love the challenge of building spaces that feel both unique and familiar, big on impact but not necessarily big on budget, and I am so proud that I continue to grow a client roster of families in all shapes and sizes, nearly purely from referrals.
What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
I really believe that home design is rooted in connection, so I work closely with my clients to understand not only their aesthetic and style goals, but their daily lives, their interests, and their family dynamics. In building these foundations, clients often become friends, and new clients are nearly always referrals. Local word of mouth has proved to be my biggest generator of new, quality projects, and I am very proud of that.

How do you keep your team’s morale high?
In the last year, I have added a part-time bookkeeper, and most recently a part-time assistant, which has improved my daily operations tremendously. I think communication is absolutely key, and having an open mind to other people’s methods and approaches to problem solving opens up more opportunity. But the most important piece for me is to always remain authentic with my team, my clients, and my vendors — when there’s something to fix, we all work together to fix it, and when there is something to celebrate, we all celebrate together.
