Trinity, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
It takes hard work, determination and dedication to doing what you love in order to become successful. Nothing happens if you are sitting on your butt at home. Go out, work, and build your legacy. I didn’t realize the behind the scenes of running my own balloon company. After all I was just my stepmom’s assistant for her balloon and backdrop company. When I started Poptastic, everything was thrown at me and I could either sit there and panic, or take what was given to me and run with it. Without determination, support from everyone in my community, or passion I would not be as successful with Poptastic as I am today.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Trinity Vu and I am 19 years old and the Owner of Poptastic Decor! My love for the industry started when I was helping my Stepmom build her company @Bacdropsinbloom. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into assisting BIB (Backdropsinbloom). Her and I built that company from the ground up. It was hard, but worth it! My Stepmom then pushed me to start my own company. She taught me all of her tips and tricks and here I am today. I first started off as a balloon artist when I was 17 years old and going into my senior year of high school. I quickly realized that I have a passion for Event Coordinating so I expanded Poptastic Decor 1.5 years later and added Event Coordination to my list of party needs! I pride myself in offering the highest quality of work. Every little detail matters when it comes to me. I work through anything. I am your right hand woman for any and all of your events! I know looking for people to trust with your decor or event planning can be a little stressful, but fear not. When you book with me, I make sure everything runs smoothly. I am so excited to work alongside all of you amazing people! Remember I am here to make your event POPTASTIC!

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
My advice would be to post,post,post. Even if you are having to repost the same content. Make sure that you are constantly posting! That attracts people to your page and those are potential clients!

What’s been the best source of new clients for you?
The most effective source of new clients for me have been word of mouth referrals. When one person trusts you with their event and you deliver above and beyond what they are expecting they are likely to refer you out to their friends and family. Referrals are a great way to get your company name out there!
