Trinity , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?
It takes consistency, discipline, passion and patience. I do have stories that can help illustrate my point on how I developed my view.
Trinity , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I took my first classic lash class in 2018 with MuseSkyn, I was only doing classic lashes for about two years then I took her volume and hybrid course. I then expanded my business to needle less lip filler & body fat dissolve, I took the class with Naked Beauty Lounge in California back in 2020. After that in 2022 I was invited to take an advanced artistry lash class by LASHGOD in Toronto which was so fun and most recently I took a permanent jewelry class. I am most proud of how I have been able to manage providing luxury services and have a successful business while being in an accelerated nursing program. I am so appreciative of all of my clients and supporters because Infinity Lashes would be nothing without them. It is so special for me to also be able to provide a listening ear to all my clients, going to a lash appointment is like going to a therapy session and waking up with beautiful eyelashes.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
As far as growing my clientele I have tried a lot of different ways and I do think that is a great thing to do. I have done referral programs where you receive money off when the person you have referred comes, I have done themed promos depending on the holiday such as for mother’s day a mother-daughter promo. I have handed out my business cards and flyers and also relied on word of mouth. What I have found to be most successful is having promo deals that go along with the holiday season, it gets people excited and talking so that also incorporates word of mouth promoting. You also can get creative in how you do the promotion. For example, in addition to the promotion I would also do a festive drink and a little gift for my clients, with the gift I would include my business card and ask my client to pass it along and a referral card where you can get a free fill in after coming in a certain amount of times.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Social Media is a little challenging, but it is so much fun. I find tiktok to be easier for me to build my audience. With social media you really have to be consistent, do not be afraid to post as many times a day/week/month as you feel you need for your brand to be seen. I also learned that I really needed to study the trends within your niche and comfortability., which they change so often but it is what keeps you relevant.
