We were lucky to catch up with Tricia Heatherington recently and have shared our conversation below.

Tricia , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to go back in time and hear the story of how you came up with the name of your brand?

When Travis and myself decided to start our family farm we wanted a name that would represent us, our family. We came up with Two Five Farm, which is named after our children 2 girls, 5 boys. This name is unique and perfect. It represents us, our family.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

My name is Tricia. I work in the medical field and also run a farm. A mother of two amazing, beautiful girls, stepmom to five heartwarming boys. Also, Super excited to announce that Travis and I are grandparents to 3 grandbabies -Miles, Ofelia, and Joseph. And, I am the maker of our handmade goat milk soaps and products.

I have sensitive skin, started looking into goat milk soaps. I was so amazed how it help my skin with eczema and itchiness. I then started sharing with family/friends. They really liked how their skin felt moisturized afterwards and just noticed a healthiness.

Travis and I talked about how can I get this out to world to help anyone/everyone with any skin issues and explain the amazing benefits of goat milk soaps. I made a website and started going to the farmer’s markets to get our goat milk soaps out to the public.

This has been an amazing stepping stone, customers are buying our goat milk soaps/ products and loving them, this makes my heart full.. I love hearing the wonderful reviews- ” that their skin has never felt better, or their eczema and itchiness has cleared up” is so heartwarming knowing that my handmade goat milk soaps are helping our customers and their family members.

Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?

People know me as a person with a great heart, funny, and loves to be around her family and animals. So, when i am at the markets talking to people/new customers they know that my products come from my heart. They know that I am true to what I make and believe in. I feel that is what makes my reputation amazing.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?

I am real honest, humbled person that loves to share her goat milks soaps, animals and family. I think the realistic from this is what draws people to us. Who doesn’t love a cute goat or baby goat be bopping around. Or the grandbabies learning/discovering the animals.

Any advice i can give is to be yourself in anything you do. People will see the realness and enjoy following you.
