Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Trey Flynt. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Trey, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?

My mission is to share the beauty of the world around us. So many of us are stuck behind a desk or at home and I hope my photography will inspire you to get out and enjoy the beauty of nature.

Trey, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

I am a photographer who specializes in landscape, wildlife and Astro photography.

I have always enjoyed nature and looked with open mouth awe at the skies above. I began to see some photos of the night sky and was instantly interested. After purchasing my first DLSR camera I immediately began to try to teach myself how to do Astro photography. It wasn’t easy and my first attempts were embarrassing. But once I began to figure it out I was hooked.

I’ve enjoyed getting away from the city and hiking and exploring. Photography was a natural extension of this. There is beauty in so many things. Whether it’s a sunset, landscape, or even an abandoned car long forgotten.

I hope people enjoy seeing the world (and stars) through my lens.

How did you build your audience on social media?

Social media is vital to the success of any artistic venture. It’s hard to reach a wide audience and anytime someone likes or shares a photo from my social media it helps support my business greatly.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

My main mission and goal is to continue doing what I enjoy and hopefully sharing that with others. I’m fortunate that photography isn’t my only means of making a living because it is almost impossible to do that unless you are shooting weddings and portraits constantly. But I am deeply honored anytime someone decides to spend their hard earned money on one of my prints and hang that in their home.
