Treva, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’ve all been there before where things are tight financially and we start asking ourselves in the small/simple joys like a cup of coffee is worth it. Have you had an experience like this and if so how did you think about this sort of spending?
I believe that during these times we must be great stewart’s over our finances. We must learn to budget and save so when hard times approach, we are prepared.
Treva, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
It all started with God waking me up out of my sleep and poured Love On Purpose into my heart. He had given me so many ideas all at one time. I had to physically get up and grab a pen and journal. He had given me the idea of candles and the names of candles. We have also expanded to room/car sprays and wax melts and few more things to come. Love On Purpose is a Faith based company. Many may not understand but God gave me names of love songs for the name of each fragrance because God is ALL about LOVE and that is what Love On Purpose represents. We inspire people to love God, Themselves and Others. One of the things that we value, is our customers. We listen to their concerns and requests. We have been open to changes and criticism and we “listen” so that we can make Love On Purpose products better. I’m so proud of our support systems, not just the workers but to our customers. We love, appreciate and thank them for the support of our business.
How did you build your audience on social media?
I believe that communications is the key and word of mouth. I’ve always tried to stay in communications with the public, even purchasing Facebook ads to promote Love On Purpose. Social Media is a great platform to promote your business. I also believe that “you” must make yourself presentable, pleasant and show excitement about your brand when engaging on these platforms. You represent your business!
What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?
The best source of new clients for Love On Purpose has been word of mouth and participating in numerous vending/pop-up events. Please be careful and research events that you are interested in!
